11月20日，天氣陰雨，然而上海燎原雙語學校國際課程班的同學們仍然舉行了一場成功的運動會。運動會以班級為單位，友好地進行活動。運動會上，同學們和其他班級的同學有了更多機會接觸，并和老師們一起愉快運動。運動會的項目*括籃球、拔河、障礙接力、乒乓球和躲避球。

Despite the rain, the students of the international division at LYBS participated in a successful Sports Day.It’s a day when the classes compete in friendly athletic games against other classes of the division.It’s a day when the students can interact more with classmates in other classes and other grades and their teachers who participated as well. Some of the games played were basketball, tug-of-war, a wacky relay, ping-pong, and dodgeball.

2020秋季運動會

開幕式由學生代表Harelda和Mario主持，他們用雙語向參賽同學們傳遞著友好、感恩和期待。以下是他們的開幕式發言。

開幕致辭

尊敬的各位老師們、同學們，大家好! 我是王同學，我是洪同學。

Dear teachers and classmates, Good morning! I'm Harelda. I'm Mario.

今天，秋高氣爽，涼風習習，在這美麗如畫的校園里，我們燎原雙語全體師生共聚在這里，懷著期待的心情，一起迎來了第八屆秋季運動會。

Today, in the pleasant autumn, we are expected to gather here for the eighth sports meeting.

體育是一種語言，參與者不需要太多話語，就可以自由交流：友誼與團結、和平與公正、關愛與尊重都會在一個個比賽中呈現……

Athletics is a language with which participants can communicate freely without too many words. Friendship and solidarity, peace and justice, love and respect are all displayed in one match after another.

一年一度的校運會是學校推行素質教育、發展體育運動、提高學生身體素質的體育盛會。一屆成功的運動會依賴于我們每個同學的熱情參與和主動配合，讓我們用運動場上每一次激情四射的跳躍、每一趟盡力而為的奔跑、每一聲愛心滿溢的助威、每一個鼓勵安慰的擁抱，來一起譜寫屬于我們的青春樂章。

The annual sports meeting helps students to exercise and strengthen their bodies. A successful sports meeting depends on the enthusiastic participation and cooperation of every student. Let's use the sports field for every leap full of passion, every run to the best of our ability, every sound of love full of encouragement, every hug of encouragement and comfort!

Lucy 11-3

在11月20日的運動會中，所有老師學生排著整齊的隊伍升好國旗后，天空落下了小雨。因為下雨取消了4×100的接力跑比賽，但是在接下來的拔河和障礙跑比賽中大家也玩的非常盡興。

最后在室內體育館里舉辦了男籃決賽和躲避球比賽，老師們也和學生們進行了緊張刺激的比賽。不管是參與比賽的人還是觀看比賽的人，大家都非常開心，享受著友誼**比賽第二的運動會。

Our sports day was held on November 20th this year. After all the teachers, students lined up in a neat line to raise the national flag, under the sky which was going to rain. The 4 x 100 relay race was cancelled because of the rain, but we had a lot of fun in the following, tug-of-war and wacky relay.

In the end, the men's basketball finals and dodge ball games were held in the indoor gym. The most exciting part was teachers participated in these games with their students. Both those participating in the games and those watching the games enjoyed themselves a lot and everyone conveyed the message that friendship comes first before competition.

Evelyn 10-4

伴隨著朦朧的秋雨，我們國際課程班迎來了一年一度的運動會。緊張刺激的拔河，生動有趣的障礙接力，競爭激烈的籃球賽，給運動會帶來了別開生面的有趣。拔河比賽上緊張的氣氛一觸即發，搖旗吶喊的同學，粗糲磨手的草繩，震耳欲聾的喊叫，無一不體現著熱血沸騰的空氣。

除了學生之間的比賽，校內的教師也參加了這次的活動，他們輕松的勝利伴隨著“We are the champion” 的歌聲和周圍的大笑一起充滿整個操場。室內籃球賽則又有著新一輪的競爭，橡木地板與橡膠球鞋摩擦發出的尖利聲，進球后觀眾的叫好和賽場上對手友好的問候填滿了整個體育館。

障礙接力是伴隨著歡快的氣氛進行的，由于濕滑的地面，整個比賽“狀況“頻出，也給大家留下了有趣而美好的回憶。美好的時光轉瞬即逝，讓我們一起期待來年的運動會。

The Sports Day came with the autumn rain. Tense and exciting tug of war, lively and interesting wacky relay, competitive basketball game brought different interests to the sports meeting. The tense atmosphere in the tug-of-war competition was explosive. The voice reflected the air of boiling blood.

In addition to the race between students, the school teachers also participated in this activity, and they won easily. The singing of "we are the champions" and the laughter surrounding them filled the whole playground. There was another competition in the indoor sports hall, with the squeal of oak floors rubbing against rubber sneakers, the cheers of spectators after goals, and the friendly greetings of opponents filling the stadium. The happy time passed fast. Let's look forward to the sports day next year together.

Keven 10-4

上周五，一年一度的運動會在一片歡呼聲中結束了。我在期中目睹了同學的快樂和幸福，也見證了同學的成功與失敗。

賽場上的同學們，和旁邊吶喊助威著的同學們，還有那場地上辛苦評判著的裁判員們，無一不為這運動會喝彩，形成了一條靚麗的風景線。

作為燎原特色節日之一，拔河，躲避球，籃球賽等...獲勝的同學可以獲得和老師的比賽資格。孫校長的致辭也頗有魅力“尊重規則，保護同學”也留下了深刻的影響。

運動會讓同學懂得了生命在于運動的深刻含義;運動會也鍛煉了我們團結友愛的機會，讓我們在比賽中競爭，在比賽中協作，在比賽中享受青春的感覺。

Last Friday, the annual sports meet ended with cheers. In the mid-term, I witnessed the happiness and happiness of my classmates, as well as their success and failure.

The students cheering for everyone and the judges applauding for the games presented a beautiful scenery. The winners of the tug-of-war, dodge ball, basketball games were honored to compete with the teacher team. Besides, Principal Sun's speech was also invigorating.

"Respect the rules and protect the students" also left a deep impression. Sports Day lets the students know that life lies in the deep meaning of sports. Sports also strengthen our unity and offer more opportunities for friendship. Let’s compete in the games, cooperate with others, and enjoy the feeling of youth.

同學們在操場上為同學們加油，激勵他們發揮出比較好的水平。運動精神洋溢在此起彼伏的歡呼聲中。盡管不是每個班級都能取得冠軍，每個人都很開心，并且期待著明年的運動會。

Great sportsmanship was evident on and off the sports fields as each class cheered for their classmates to motivate them to do their best.

Though, not every class was able to win first place in every event, everyone had a good time and everyone can't wait for Sports Day next year.
