大家好，我是上海燎原雙語學校英文部九年級3班的曹同學Eric。在圣誕節活動上，我的兩幅畫作在慈善拍賣會上分別拍賣出了五百元和兩百元的價格，這簡直讓我興奮得無以言表，自己用堅持多年的才藝能為慈善做出貢獻!

Hello everyone, I’m Eric from LYBS Class 9-3. At the Christmas celebration, my two paintings were sold at the charity auction for 500 yuan and 200 yuan respectively, which made me very excited and felt that I had made a contribution to charity with my talent.

畫畫這項才藝并沒有讓我的學習落后，幾乎每科均為L4。我的班級學習氛圍濃烈，同學們都積極向上，互幫互助，老師們也都認真負責。

At the same time of my outstanding talent, my academic performance is also very excellent that almost every subject achieves L4. Our class has a strong learning atmosphere. The students are positive, help each other and the teachers are also conscientious and responsible.

目前在燎原已經一個學期啦，我收獲了友誼和成長，大家都好奇我是怎么做到同時兼顧學習和興趣愛好的。

During this one semester in Liaoyuan, I have gained friendship and growth, they are all curious about how I can balance my study tasks and hobby development.

我認為最主要的秘訣在于時間管理。作為一名住校生，燎原給了很多供我自己支配的時間，但如何合理安排這些時間則是我要考慮的問題。

I think the main secret is time management. As a boarder, Liaoyuan has given me a lot of time for my own disposal, but how to arrange these time reasonably is what I should consider carefully.

在學校我還是以學習為重，我會每星期列出這周要完成的學習任務，均勻分配到每天，然后再見縫插針地安排一些畫畫的時間。

In school, I value studying a lot. I will list the learning tasks to be completed this week every week and evenly distribute them to every day, and then I will arrange some drawing time accordingly.

利用碎片時間安排學習是事半功倍的，不要總是抱怨沒有時間，時間就像海綿里的水，擠擠總還是有的。所以只要合理利用閑下來的時間就可以完成很多事情。

Learning to take advantage of fragmented time can help you get twice the result with half the effort. Don't always complain that there is no time. Time is like water in a sponge. There is always time to squeeze. So as long as we make good use of our spare time, we can accomplish many tasks.

我真的熱愛畫畫，所以只要閑下來我就會悶頭創作。我的碎片時間被充分利用起來分配給學習和才藝訓練，時間分配得當使得我不會因畫畫而荒廢學習，也留下了足夠的時間培養自己的特長。

Because I really love painting, as long as I have time to spare, I will draw, which enables me to make full use of my time. The time allocated for study and talent training is impartial, which makes me not waste my study because of painting, but also leave enough time to cultivate my hobbies.

畫畫于我而言，是在平時生活中最能讓我放松的解壓方式。

For me, painting is the most relaxing way of decompression in my daily life.

作為一名學生，我經常會感到來自學業上的壓力和焦慮。例如一次沒發揮好的小測，一張沒滿分的單詞默寫，到對未來宏大目標和規劃的迷茫和不確定，都是我焦慮的來源。

As a student, I often feel anxious. From academic pressure, such as a little test that didn't play well, a dictation that didn't get full marks, to confusion and uncertainty about future grand goals and plans, all are the sources of my anxiety.

在這些焦慮的時刻，只要拿起畫畫的工具，熟悉的紙張和畫筆能讓我瞬間感到放松。

In these anxious moments, just pick up the drawing tools, familiar paper and brush can make me feel relaxed instantly.

學習的任務與才藝的訓練，兩者看上去毫不相干，實則緊密相連。培養自己的興趣愛好，不一定是畫畫，也可是彈琴，打球，閱讀，在學習累了的時候，讓自己喘一口氣，讓自己充充電，才能更加精力充沛地投入學習。讓我們一起合理規劃時間，安排好自己的生活。

The task of learning and the training of talent are seemingly unrelated, but in fact they are closely linked. Cultivate your hobbies, not necessarily painting, but also playing the piano, playing ball, reading, etc. When you are tired of school work, let yourself breathe, let yourself recharge, and you can be more energetic into learning. Let's plan our time reasonably and arrange our own life.
