世界上的符號標志種類萬千，無處不在。這一周孩子們帶上筆記本在校園里尋找每一個角落的標志，有人居然找到了四十幾種標志。他們邊走邊找，邊找邊畫，邊畫邊認識……通過記錄，孩子們認識到了許多平時沒有注意到的標志。個個臉上洋溢著欣喜的表情。

There are thousands of symbols and signs in the world everywhere. This week, children take their notebooks around the school to look for the signs. Some children have found over 40 signs. They look for and draw, and they know each other as they go along. By recording, children know more signs that they do not normally notice. Every face was filled with happy expressions.

UOI課上,我們探究著從遠古至現今，在這浩瀚的時間長流里，發明使社會的運作更有效率。

In UOI class, we explored how inventions have made society more efficient, from ancient times tothe present.

本周是我們UOI開課的**周，圍繞著探究內容“發明”，學生們激烈討論，各抒己見。他們相互分享了很多發明的小知識，比如：馬云發明了淘寶，愛迪生發明了燈泡，萊特兄弟發明了飛機等等。當然，關于發明，學生仍然有很多疑問需要在接下來的學習中一步步探究。

This week is the first week of our UOI class. Around exploring "inventions", students have heated discussions and express their opinions. They shared with each othermany inventions, such as: Ma Yun invented Taobao. Edison invented the lightbulb, the Wright brothers invented the airplane and so on. Of course, studentsstill have a lot of questions about inventions that need to be explored step by step later.
