上海燎原雙語學校二十周年校慶的各種活動還在不斷地舉行中，籌備已久的英語演講比賽在三年級火熱展開?；仡櫵脑鲁醯奖敬蔚臎Q賽的舉行，在這段時間里，許多同學為了本次比賽努力的寫稿子、背稿子、講稿子。

With the approach of the 20th anniversary of the university, the long-prepared English speech contest was launched in the grade three. Looking back at the beginning of April to this final held, in this period of time, many students wrote, recited and spoke their manuscript who made a lot of efforts for this competition.

本次演講比賽的主題是“我眼中的燎原學?！?。這個主題對于大多數學生來說還是比較好寫的，同學們從自己的角度介紹了我們學校的不同設施、老師和同學。同學們有感而發，寫出了自己對于我們學校的感情，以及在他們眼中學校正發生的點點滴滴的變化。

The theme of this speech contest is "Liaoyuan school in my eyes". This topic is easy for most students to write. Students introduced different facilities, teachers and classmates of our school from their own perspectives. Students wrote their feelings for our school, as well as the changes what has happened in our school.

但對于我們這屆學生來說，英語演講對他們來說很是“新鮮“。在海選的時候，有的同學把演講變成了背書，甚至是讀書，沒有肢體語言，沒有與觀眾的互動。有的同學因為沒有自信、緊張等等原因，在臺上結結巴巴、說得非常小聲。但是，最值得老師欣慰的是雖然仍然有極為少數的同學因為膽怯而沒有上臺，大多數同學都克服了演講畏懼而相當棒地完成了演講表演。

For our classes of students, English speech is new to them. In the audition, some students turned the speech into recitation, or even reading, without body language or interaction with the audience. Some students stammered on the stage or said very quietly because there is no confidence, nervousness and other reasons. However, the most gratifying thing for me is that only a small number of students did not take the stage because of their timidity.

來自三年級五個班級的15位同學，在決賽的舞臺上一決雌雄。雖說是一次比賽，這更是一次展現燎原學生風采的機會。雖然在臺上，仍有些同學顯出了緊張和稚嫩，但是他們所展現出來的潛質足以讓每個在場的教師、家長為之驚嘆，他們的未來不可限量!

On the stage of the final, 15 students from five classes fight it out. Although it was a competition, I think it was more of an opportunity to show our students. Although on the stage, there are still some students show the tension and immature, but the potential they showed is enough to let every teacher and parents feel amazing Their future is unlimited.

隨著英文演講一等獎的揭曉，小學部的英語演講比賽也階段性地結束了一部分。雖然三年級比賽結束了，但是同學們的熱情絲毫沒有減退，還盼望著來年還能有這樣的比賽。三年級的演講比賽之后，讓我們繼續期待接下來四、五年級的精彩表演吧。

With the announcement of the first prize, the TED TALK of the grade three has come to an end. Although the game is over, but the enthusiasm of the students did not decline, but also look forward to have such a game next year. After the grade 3 competition, let us continue to look forward to the wonderful performances of grade 4 and grade 5.
