上海燎原雙語學校英文部德育課堂主題是——德育系列之垃圾分類。對我們來說，把垃圾一扔仿佛就和自己沒有關系了，但是對于城市來說，卻已經不堪垃圾的重負。難道我們對此就束手無策了嗎?當然不是，解決辦法就是垃圾分類!

Our moral education class is coming! This time, our theme is Recycling. Everybody, are you ready? Throwing rubbish seems like an easy thing to us, but for city, it’s overburdened. The way to settle it is to recycle!

五彩分類垃圾桶

2019年1月31日，上海市正式通過《上海市生活垃圾管理條例》，標志著垃圾分類強制時期的到來。條例將通過法律的強制性，推動上海市生活垃圾分類。

On January 31th, Shanghai People’s Congress officially passed the Shanghai Household Waste Management Regulation, marking the arrival of garbage classification for the city. The regulation requires mandatory household waste classification.

上海市燎原雙語學校作為IB–PYP學校，又恰逢**大力推行垃圾分類，我們就選用了“垃圾分類”作為探究的主題，讓學生們靈活運用所學知識，發現生活中存在的問題，探究解決問題的方法，進而服務于社會。

As a IB – PYP school, to support Shanghai household garbage classification, we chose garbage classification as the topic of our UOI. Students will find real life problems, and inquire about solutions with what they’ve learnt about serving the society.

4月起，燎原雙語學校英語部小學也開展了垃圾分類系列活動，接下來我們一起來看看，我們是如何學習垃圾分類的?

Since April, LYBS launched a series of garbage classification activities. Let's see, how do we carry out garbage classification activities?

課堂上，老師們詳細講解了垃圾減量，垃圾分類的意義、方法，幫助孩子們深入了解垃圾分類常識。認真聽完班會后，通過問卷檢測學生是否了解明白了垃圾如何分類。

Teachers explained thesignificance and method of garbage reduction and garbage classification, tohelp children deeply understand garbage classification knowledge. Afterlistening to the class meeting carefully, the questionnaire tested whether thestudents understood how to classify garbage.

經過一系列的垃圾分類活動之后，同學們對垃圾分類的理解越來越深刻，越來越多的同學精心繪制了以垃圾分類為主題的海報，在燎原雙語學校掀起了一場“垃圾分類新潮流”

After a series of garbage classification activities, students' achieve deep understanding of garbage classification. More and more students drew posters with garbage classification, setting off a New trend of garbage classification in LYBS.

垃圾分類不單單是一次活動，這是一種態度，更是一種責任，讓我們攜起手來，共同參與垃圾分類吧!垃圾分類UOI探究課程，其目的在于鍛煉學生的探究能力和動手能力，最終學生們會用自己的方式宣傳生活垃圾分類，提高環保意識，助力上海市垃圾分類新時尚。

This course develops students' inquiry ability and practical ability, Students will use their own ways to publicize the household garbage classification, raise people's awareness, and support garbage classification in Shanghai.
