大家好，我是Helen Sellers，來自上海燎原雙語學校英文部G12-1美國班。在過去的半年里，我為申請美國的音樂學院做了很多的準備，接下來我想和大家分享一下。

Hello, everyone, this is Helen Sellers, fromG12-1 American class. Over the past six months, I've made a lot of preparationsfor applying to the music schools in the United States. I want to share withyou my experience.

當時我一共申請了八所學校，在完成學校課業(yè)的同時，也是在瘋狂地填寫各種資料，準備各種文書，還寫了不少個人簡歷。不僅如此，也感謝我的班主任Jennifer、學生處主任Lee，還有我的音樂專業(yè)老師給我寫的推薦信，這些都是幫助我之后申請學校成功的必備文書材料。

My music training center helped me applyfor a total of eight schools. While I was working hard to complete schoolwork,I was also frantically filling out a variety of materials, and writing a lot ofpersonal essays. Apart from that, I also want to thank my head teacherJennifer, Student Affairs Director Lee, and my music teacher Mr. Ma for writingrecommendation letters for me. These are the foundations that helped me applyfor school success after that.

伯克利音樂學院offer

在去年十月初的時候我錄制完成了我的作品集，在十一月的時候，基本完成了大部分學校的線上面試和試題。十二月初，我迎來了理想中的伯克利音樂學院的面試。我為這次面試傾注了我所有的心思和情緒，感謝指導老師對我所有的指導幫助，讓我在面試中發(fā)揮了實際水準, 沒有什么失誤。

At the beginning of last October, Ifinished my music portfolio. In November, I basically completed most of theschool online interviews and test questions. In early December, BerkleeConservatory of Music, my dream school, called me for an interview. I pouredall my thoughts and emotions into this interview. Thanks to Mr. Ma for all myguidance help, I completed the interview with my actual ability. No bigmistakes.

經(jīng)過了漫長的等待，當然也陸續(xù)拿到了一些名校的錄取。最讓我最開心的是在今年的二月一號拿到了伯克利發(fā)來的offer!

After a long waiting period of time, I graduallygot some famous schools’ offers. What knocks me down is that I finally got theoffer from Berklee on February 1, 2019.

盡管如此，我并沒有就此放松懈怠下來。在十二年級的最后一個學期里，我有自己的大計劃。

Despite the offer, I didn't relax and slackoff. In the last semester of the G12, I have two big plans.

**個計劃：錄制一張專輯

First: Record a studio album

這張專輯將會由10首歌組成，里面*括大家耳熟能詳?shù)摹肮饽曛狻钡姆€有許多英文流行歌曲的翻唱，抒情流行歌曲、以及爵士音樂的翻唱。

The album consists of 10 songs. It includesthe familiar "Light years away" flip-flops, as well as the flip-flopsof many English pop songs, lyrical pop songs, and the flip-flops of jazz music.

第二個計劃：舉辦個人演唱會

Second:Hold a Solo Concert

就在今年的6月4日，我將在學校里舉行我的個人演唱會，也算是我對自己過去所學到的音樂技巧知識的總結。這次演唱會一共有12首歌曲，歌曲的風格*括Pop、EDM、Rap、Jazz。歌曲的語言有中文、英文和法語。同時，我的專輯也將在6月4日當天進行簽售。

On June 4th , 2019, I will holdmy solo concert at school. It is also a presentation of my music skills I havelearned. There will be 12 songs in the concert. The style of the song includesPop, EDM, Rap, Jazz. The language of the songs will be Chinese, English, andFrench. My album will be for sale on the same day.

希望我的音樂和歌聲能夠帶給大家喜悅與力量，也希望大家喜歡。

I hope my music and singing can bringeveryone joy and strength. I hope you will like it.
