隨著三年級英語演講比賽的結(jié)束，上海燎原雙語學(xué)校英文部20周年校慶之英語演講比賽四年級組隨即拉開帷幕。經(jīng)過兩個(gè)星期的海選，每個(gè)班級都選出了班級中的“精英”來角逐最后的冠軍。

With the end of the grade three English speech contest, the fourth grade group of the 20th anniversary English speech contest began. After two weeks of auditions, each class selected the 'elite' of the class to compete for the final champion.

在家長、老師和四年級所有同學(xué)的注視下，參加決賽的十四名同學(xué)依次上場，雖然有的同學(xué)仍然顯得有些緊張，但是相比三年級的學(xué)弟和學(xué)妹，四年級的同學(xué)在臺上的臺風(fēng)都顯得更加老練。在這些同學(xué)當(dāng)中，許多同學(xué)講到了我們學(xué)校從一所實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校轉(zhuǎn)變成IB世界學(xué)校，在他們眼中所發(fā)生的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴的變化。

Under the gaze of parents, teachers and all the students in grade four, the fourteen students who participated in the finals took the stage one by one. Although some students still seemed a little nervous, compared with their junior schoolmates in grade three, the students in grade four all appeared more sophisticated on the stage. Among these students, many of them talked about the transformation of our school from an experimental school to an IB world school, and the little changes that happened in their eyes.

值得一提的是，雙語班的同學(xué)在臺上展現(xiàn)出的英語能力和那種自信的感覺讓我、還有*括所有在場的評委老師感到贊嘆。這并非一日之功，這和他們在平時(shí)在UOI課中經(jīng)常有這樣展示的機(jī)會(huì)有很大的關(guān)系。更讓我感到欣慰的一點(diǎn)，四年級組的比賽，沒有出現(xiàn)三年級組中出現(xiàn)的參賽選手男女比例失調(diào)、陰盛陽衰的情況，男生在比賽中發(fā)揮異常出色。最終冠軍也花落四一班的一位男生手中，他與觀眾們的互動(dòng)讓我們印象深刻。

It is worth mentioning that the bilingual class students on the stage to show the ability in English and that kind of confidence, which make me including all the judges present teacher praise. This is not a day's work, and it has a lot to do with the opportunities they often have some presentations in UOI classes. Otherwise, what makes me feel more gratifying is that in the competition of the fourth grade, there was no imbalance between boys and girls contestants in the competition of the third grade group, and the boys did exceptionally well in the competition. The final winner also fell to a boy from class 1. His interaction with the audience impressed us deeply.
