Mark老師來自美國，他在上海燎原國際高中英文部教世界地理，學生們都很喜歡他的課。以下是學生對Mark老師做的專訪，快來與他面對面交流：

1、You are a teacher in Liaoyuan. What do you like here ?

你在燎原當老師，喜歡這里的什么呢?

I like a lot of things in this school. There're a lot of students who are very excited to learn. I love to see that students go out of their way to do extra works like attending elective classes. Interviewing teachers and doing extra project for the class, these excellent students amaze me.

那就很多啦!這里有很多好學的學生。我很樂意看到他們打破常規，在課外有所拓展，比如說參加選修課。采訪老師，完成額外的課程研究，他們的優秀讓我驚嘆。

2、If you can change your subject, you will try something different or keep teaching geography?

如果可以換學科的話，你是繼續教授地理，還是會嘗試一下其它的學科?

That’s a really good question. In this school , my class is world geography. But I also like to teach history. In United States, I usually teach history.

這是一個很好的問題。在燎原，我的課程是世界地理，不過我也愛教歷史。在美國，我講授的就是歷史課。

3、Why do you like to teach history?

你喜歡教歷史的原因是什么呢?

History is a story of people, it's so interesting.

歷史是關于人的故事，很有趣。

4、If you have 10 million RMB for your salary, how will you spend it ? On school or your daily life ?

如果你的工資是一千萬人民幣，你將如何花費它呢?投入學校還是用于日常生活?

If I have the choice, I will spend it on school. I would buy fire alarm for all the classroom. So If there is a fire, students can get off the building safely. If there are some more money, I will spend it on battle sports. It sounds amazing.

如果可以選擇，我會把這筆錢用在學校。我將為每間教室安裝上火災報警器。那么一旦發生火災，學生們就可以安全的撤離。如果還有剩余，我會花在“體育搏擊”上。聽起來不錯吧!

5、What is battle sports? Can you tell me more about that?

什么是“體育搏擊”? 能講得詳細一點嗎?

Of course. This is an elective class at Liaoyuan, but also what I like to do in United State, usually at weekends and holidays. It is a group of people carrying something we cannot hurt each other, then we beat each other up and have a good time.

當然可以。這是燎原的一門選修課，也是我在美國喜歡做的事情，經常在周末和假期玩。就是一群人拿著不會傷人的“武器”，相互搏擊，很開心。

6、We have house event every week. Do you like the house event?

我們每周都有學院活動。 你喜歡這些活動嗎?

I really like the house event, and l enjoy doing fun things with my house. I really don’t like to watch other people do things at all.

我非常喜歡這些活動，也很享受和我的隊員一起做有趣的事。我并不喜歡做個旁觀者。

7、There is a house event which is for Halloween on October. Are you interested in it ?

在10月份學校會有萬圣節活動。你感興趣嗎?

This is my favorite holiday. I like to dress up my favorite character. I do it also in United States. I have a lot of fun in it.

萬圣節是我最喜歡的節日。我會裝扮成我最喜歡的角色。在美國我也這樣， 真的很有趣。
