上海燎原雙語學校國際部IB課程精彩回顧

上海燎原雙語學校前身為創(chuàng)建于1992年的上海市燎原實驗學校,是育莘教育旗下一所九年一貫制的民辦雙語學校,2016年正式更名為上海市燎原雙語學校,并開始融合IB國際文憑組織PYP和MYP項目于中國國家課程。學校認同IB的使命宣言,注重把學生培養(yǎng)成具有國際情懷的學子。以下是上海燎原雙語學校國際部IB課程回顧。

這周一年級的小朋友去農(nóng)場體驗采摘生活的樂趣,他們認真聆聽,仔細觀察、勇于嘗試、辛苦采摘,感受healthy lifestyle,雖然這一單元已經(jīng)結(jié)束,但是孩子們探索的欲望卻沒停止。

This week G1 children went to the farm to experience the joy of picking. They listened carefully, observed carefully, dared to try, harvest hard, and feel healthy lifestyle. Although this unit is over, the children's desire to explore has not stopped.

在今天的課堂上,我們?yōu)槲覀兊呐馁u活動準備了廣告,設定了我們產(chǎn)品的價格和條件,并使用有說服力的廣告詞。我們還討論了拍賣如何運作,并觀看了一段關于中國拍賣的簡短視頻。

In class today we prepared our advertisements for our auction activity, setting the price and conditions of our products and using persuasive advertising words. We also discussed how auctions work and watched a short video about an auction in China.

本單元接近尾聲,深入體會作為商品交換中的一個重要環(huán)節(jié):市場營銷,看看怎么做廣告,怎樣把用各種方法把我們的商品推銷出去。

At the end of this unit, we will have a thorough understanding of marketing as an important part of commodity exchange: how to advertise and how to sell our commodities in various ways.

在對披薩的買賣過程進行激烈的討論過后,我們不僅合作完成了該活動的每一步,也對商品和服務的一般交易方式有了更深的了解。

After a lively discussion about the process of buying and selling pizza, we not only finished each step of the activity cooperatively, but also gained a better understanding of how goods and services are exchanged generally.

總結(jié)性評估—小組拍賣活動, 我們?yōu)槲覀兊呐馁u活動準備了廣告,(設定了我們產(chǎn)品的價格和條件,廣告詞和物品的銷售技巧等)。在整個拍賣的過程當中,最激動人心的時刻是一位孩子經(jīng)過激烈的競拍以199元的價格拍得一個埃菲爾鐵塔的拼圖。

Here’s the Summative Assessment—Auction. As for the activity, we made an advertisement for items(setting the price, condition of goods, advertising words and some skills of exchanging products. During the auction,the most exciting things was that a kid bought a Eiffel Tower for 199.

這周我們進行了總結(jié)性評估。學生以拍宣傳片的方式,介紹一種健康或者不健康的食物,又或者介紹一種健康的生活方式或者不健康的生活方式。在介紹的過程中,孩子需要講到這種食物或生活方式對我們的身體系統(tǒng)會有怎么樣的影響,而這種身體系統(tǒng)對我們的健康又會造成什么樣的影響。

This week,students introduced healthy or unhealthy food, healthy lifestyle or unhealthy lifestyle by making a video. In the process of introduction, children need to talk about how this kind of food or lifestyle will affect our body system, and how this body system will affect our health.

這周是本學期的最后一周,也是UOI的總結(jié)性評估,本探究單元的總結(jié)性評估是制作人類遷徙的宣傳畫冊。學生們正在積極的查找搜集資料,小組內(nèi)分工合作,有的負責整理文檔文檔,有的負責書寫,還有的同學負責繪畫,大家分工明確,有條不紊,期待每個小組都能展現(xiàn)出優(yōu)秀的作品,拭目以待吧!

This week is the last week of the semester, and also the UOI's summative assessment. The summative assessment of this inquiry unit is to produce a brochure on human migration. Students are actively searching and collecting information, division of labor and cooperation within the group, some are responsible for sorting out documents, some are responsible for writing, and some are responsible for painting, we have a clear division of labor, orderly.We look forward to each group showing the best works.Let us wait and see!
