One of the main questions that I can already see in your eyes, when you are thinking about, which is the best school for your students, is what are the characteristics of that school, what is it you should be looking for?

我們尚未相識,但我已經大致猜到了您在教育上最核心的困擾之一，您是否在想，到底哪所學校最適合您的孩子，該給孩子尋找和匹配具有哪種特質的學校呢?

We have experienced since last year, a situation. Nowadays, we call it the pandemic that nobody could predict.

從去年開始，我們經歷了百年一遇的疫情。

And even though this has been a very stressful situation, there’s always a silver lining.

盡管應對緊張局勢，但我們從未放棄一線希望。

And this silver lining, in this case, has to do with the fact that, as human beings we have learned that actually, the only thing that doesn't change in life is that everything is constantly changing.

To make sure that we achieve these goals, what we have done is, we have developed a solid, rigorous curriculum from G1 to G12.

為了**這一目標的實現，這些年，育莘教育旗下的燎原雙語學校(LYBS)已經制定了一套扎實而嚴謹的小初高全學段課程。

Actually, a curriculum that supports students identify challenges, and provides choices.

事實上，我們實施的課程，目的是為了讓孩子們認識挑戰，并給他們的未來提供多樣的選擇。

Therefore, in our primary and middle school, we have bilingual and integrated streams.

在學校的小學和初中，我們開設了雙語班和融合班。

Of course, content wise, we have the Chinese national curriculum from G1 to G9.

就課程內容而言，我們在義務制教育階段(G1到G9)提供中國國家課程。

Being the bedrock of what we teach, being accessed within the IB PYP and MYP frameworks.

國家課程是燎原雙語教學的基石，同時融合了國際文憑組織(IB)的IB PYP和MYP框架。

The languages of instruction are of course Chinese and English.

我們的教學語言是中文和英文。

In the bilingual classes, more emphasis is placed on Chinese.

在雙語班上，我們會將更多的重點放在漢語的輸出和學習上。

Where as in the integrated classes, there is a balance between Chinese and English.

而在融合班，教學期間的中英文輸出之間會達到一定比例的平衡。

In our High School, we offer four different options to our students.

在學校的高中階段，我們為學生提供四種不同的出口選擇。

For students that are potentially interested in the future to attend universities in China, we offer the national curriculum program leading to the Gaokao exams.

對未來選擇在國內讀大學的學生，我們有國家普通高中課程，直奔高考。

When it comes to students interested in attending universities abroad, we offer the Ontario curriculum, which leads to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, the Canadian program.

而對于有計劃在國外就讀大學的學生來說，學校有加拿大高中項目，可以提供安大略省同步課程，獲得原汁原味的安省高中文憑。

We also offer the United States curriculum with AP options, as well as the AP Capstone Diploma Program.

我們還提供美國高中項目并提供AP大學先修課程及AP頂點課程。

Of course, a new addition, let's say to our education armory is the IB DP programme, and our first cohort will join our school September 2021.

學校還有一個新落成的項目，就是國際文憑大學預科項目(IB DP)。**批DP學生將于2021年9月加入我們。

The IB DP has been authorized some months ago, this current school year.

學校的IB DP項目于本學年一月正式獲得授權。

What we have managed at LYBS is to be 較高概率 prepared only within 4 months.

What is extremely important nowadays in education, is not content.

而是對概念的理解，能夠提出正確的問題，進而培養與發展正確的能力。

Skills that are developed further, because they already exist and acquiring new skills that we never even imagine that we could, like skills that we have all developed during the pandemic.

它們是讓自己能夠適應發展的能力，是一些已經存在但還需進一步發展提升的能力，以及我們未曾掌握但未來需要去學習和具備的新能力。就比如這次疫情中，我們可能多多少少都發現并掌握了自己從前沒有過的能力。

This is how we managed to overcome this very serious problem.

這就是我們克服嚴峻挑戰的方法。

Here in LYBS then, we are not only focusing on academics and formal education, traditional education, but we are also focusing on many other things, very important things, such as student well-being.

在LYBS，我們不僅僅關注學術，關注常規和傳統的教育，我們也關注很多其他非常重要的事情，比如學生的幸福感。

This is extremely important through the provision of activities outside the classroom provide students with the opportunity to develop these skills.
