上海燎原雙語學校國際部高中英語配音比賽在金色國慶前夕如約而至。由人文組舉辦的英語配音比賽的初衷是激發學生們學習英語的熱情,鍛煉流利說英語的能力,促進注意力的培養,提高勇于挑戰自我的膽量,培養團隊意識。
In order to arouse student interest in spoken English, as well as developing focus, bravery, and team work, the Humanities Department’s Film Dubbing Contest was introduced just before National Day.
配音比賽
英文配音大賽
作為全校范圍的英語教學特色活動,英語配音比賽素來以「學生參與度高」「挑戰經典影片」「現場互動強」等標簽聞名于全校。今年,共有16支團隊56名同學帶來了各具特色的電影片段,現場比拼配音技能,為老師和同學們帶來了一場燎原版「聲臨其境」。在比賽中,我們觀察和記錄著學生們的想法,也見證了學生們的成長。
This year, 56 students forming sixteen teams presented a stunning and enjoyable routine. The live movie dubbing contest is a fusion of voices, sights and feelings. In the contest, we are observing and recording the thoughts of students, and also witnessing their growth.
賽前準備
在活動的過程中,學生們是主動學習者,很大程度上調動了他她們的學習積極性。從組建團隊,下載某配音APP,到分配角色,再到合體練習,看似簡單的1-2分鐘的配音片段,實際上每個人都需要卯足勁耐心練習,并隨時準備好「無縫銜接,配音如流」,因為大家都知道,任何一個人稍一走神,那就是“整段垮掉”。
這是一個非常需要團隊配合的活動,在16支團隊里,最多的一組選手派出了6個人。試想一下,在配音練習中,他她們運用了怎樣強大的時間管理能力來做到一個配音作品的完成。
When preparing for the contest, students were active learners. They formed teams, downloaded the dubbing APP, played different roles and rehearsed together. A two-minute dubbing episode requires all the efforts of every single person in the team.
The success of the dubbing depends on seamless cooperation because one misstep may result in a disappointment. Imagine six students in a dubbing team. They managed their time well to accomplish the dubbing task!
技能比拼
11-3班同學們的兩個作品都給人留下了深刻印象。首先在Jeffrey的帶領下展現英劇《夏洛克福爾摩斯》的5分鐘大結局片段,鏡頭在四個角色中間反復切換,語速奇快,語氣轉換迅速,臺詞飛速,稍縱即逝,所有人都在目不轉睛地處于高度緊張狀態,配合高強度的臺詞表現力,雖有瑕疵,但非常有膽量。第二部作品是四位女生帶來的《瑞克和莫蒂》,她們的流利程度讓人瞠目結舌。
G11-3’s two films were remarkably impressive. Jeffrey’s five-member team demonstrated the apprehension among the four brilliant characters in the British TV series Sherlock Holmes. When scenes shifted between characters, the team focused on the screen without a blink. They spoke fast and had great control of their breathing and tone of voice. Although making several mistakes, they showed courage. Next, the four girls played roles in Rick and Morty and stunned the audience with their amazing fluency.
11-2班同學們以Daniel為核心,也獻出了兩個精彩作品,并且全部進入前三名,即便在話筒出現故障的情況下,他們用自己的聲音表現了《X戰警》的神秘腔調和《搶劫堅果店》的詼諧風趣,獲得了同學們的掌聲。
Two teams from G11-2 were also claimingtheir fame by presenting two movies. When they were dubbing X-Men, themicrophones didn’t work. They were not affected and used their own voices toconvey the mystery of the movie. The second movie The Nut Job was a successwith its peculiar humor.
來自9-1班的兩名同學剛剛加入燎原就代表班級挑戰了《泰坦尼克號》中兩位主角訣別的重頭戲,在5分鐘的配音過程中,全場屏息凝視,聽著配音同學用吐氣、吸氣、啜泣和鼻息來詮釋海水的冰冷、生死離別時的心痛以及求生的一絲希望,當女主角獲救,全場響起了熱烈的掌聲。
After that, two new G9-1 students finisheda daunting task. Their trembling voices and sobbing breaths showed that theywere Jack and Rose, departing from each other on the freezing sea in Titanic.As Rose used her last breath to call come back, the lecture hall was full of cheers and claps.
之后,大家陸續把自己喜歡的電影呈現給評委們和師生們,《白雪公主與冰雪奇緣公主饒舌對唱》《怦然心動》《千與千尋》《小豬佩奇》《咱們裸熊》《生活大爆炸》《瘋狂動物城》《如果我們的狗變成了人》《勝利之歌》《元氣少女緣結神》等,有輕松幽默、青春洋溢、也有童趣盎然,富有哲理。
Then, more good films were to come.Disney Princess Rap Battle, Flipped, Chihiro, Peppa Pig, The Three Bare Bear, The Big Bang Theory, Zootopia, If Our Dog were a Person, Victorious, Kamisama Love. Watching these movies, we recalled fond memories in our childhood, heard laughers for funny scenes and learnt about life。

11-2班《搶劫堅果店》獲得**名;
9-2班《泰坦尼克號》,11-4班《怦然心動》獲得第二名;
10-4班《元氣少女緣結神》,11-3班《瑞克和莫蒂》,11-2《X-戰警》獲得第三名。
Finally, The Nut Job won the first prize, followed by Titanic and Flipped on the second place. Kamisama Love, Rick and Morty, X-men got the third prizes.
寓教于樂,學以致用,引導學生使用APP工具學習英語,創造機會讓學生們和小伙伴們一起努力合作完成一件事,總結經驗,反思不足。
The film dubbing integrates learning with fun and uses language knowledge in practice. Students are encouraged to use online tools to learn English and given a chance to work together to achieve a goal. They learn from each other and reflect their weakness in order to improve.
這場由學生支持、以學生為主的英語配音比賽再一次讓燎原的孩子們體會到國際教育下學習英文的樂趣,也達到了比賽的初衷。
The event, hosted and organized by students is solid proof that Liaoyuan is exerting more efforts on English teaching and learning in the context of international education.
