When I began teaching at LiaoYuan International School I was apprehensive and unsure of what this new school and new environment would bring.

初入燎原國際學(xué)校教書時(shí)，免不了些許憂慮和擔(dān)心。面臨一所新的學(xué)校，面對一個(gè)新的環(huán)境，少不了未知彷徨。

From the first day, I was greeted with the friendly faces of students and teachers alike. It became very clear from the very beginning that this is a place that prides itself on fostering and encouraging creativity.

但一直以來，燎原的老師和學(xué)生都非常友善。而且有一點(diǎn)從一開始就非常明確: 這里是一個(gè)培養(yǎng)和鼓勵(lì)創(chuàng)造力的地方，是學(xué)校值得引以為傲的地方。

At LiaoYuan, students are given ample opportunities to truly explore their passions and pursue interesting hobbies. From the classrooms to the clubs and house activities, there are plenty of opportunities to learn in a fun and interactive way.

燎原的學(xué)生有多種多樣的機(jī)會去真正的探索他們的激情所在，并且有充分的條件去嘗試他們興趣所在。或者在課堂內(nèi)，或者在各類俱樂部內(nèi)，或者在不同的學(xué)院活動中，這里有無數(shù)的機(jī)會可以讓學(xué)生在充滿趣味和互動的氛圍中提升自己。

As a teacher at this school, I feel supported by my colleagues and pushed to always be prepared to teach my students in a manner that will constantly challenge them to think outside of the box and apply the material from class to their daily lives.

作為燎原的一名教師，我被周圍熱情的同事支持并鼓勵(lì)著。在這樣一個(gè)氛圍里，我會時(shí)時(shí)刻刻謹(jǐn)記教書育人，是要連續(xù)不斷的去挑戰(zhàn)學(xué)生打破固定的思維模式，從而更能辯證的看待問題。教書育人，是要能把課堂所學(xué)應(yīng)用到日常生活中去，實(shí)現(xiàn)真正的學(xué)以致用

The support that I receive from the staff also encourages me to try to be the best teacher that I can be and to try to impact the students in a way that inspires them to be the best students, or the most motivated learners, that they can be.

同事給予我的幫助和支持也一直在激勵(lì)我努力成為我能成為的比較好的老師。我也希望能以此影響我的學(xué)生，激勵(lì)我的學(xué)生，讓我的學(xué)生成為他們能成為的，優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生，最有動力的學(xué)生。

I feel excited and inspired to be part of this team and I hope that these initial feelings that I have felt toward this school will be unchanged throughout the duration of my time here.
