懷著激動的心情踏上旅程 領略美國學生學習氛圍

From this travel back from DECA(Distributive Educational Clubs of America), the ICDC(The International Career Development Conference), to be honest, it’s a amazing experience and fantastic memory to me.

回顧這次DECA-ICDC(全美高中生商業挑戰賽)之旅，不管從哪種角度來說，于我都是一次令人興奮且難忘的經歷。

This year, DECA is held in Nsahville, Tennessee, America. Each state select their students in advance to attend DECA. I have to say that the environment and atmosphere is totally different from China. The students there are very positive and enthusiastic. They will start a conversation with you and most of are very talkative. It’s obvious to see that they are prepared well. And whether they are good or not, they show their confidence naturally. Out of the DECA, they can also enjoy themselves extremely well. As a student, we should live a life just like theirs, work hard, play hard.

今年DECA在美國田納西州的納什維爾舉辦，全美各州進行層層選拔，都挑選了優秀的隊伍來參加本屆的DECA。不得不說那兒的環境和氛圍與國內完全不同。那兒的學生都非常積極且充滿熱情，他們會主動找你聊天并且十分健談。顯而易見的，無論他們的計劃方案是好是壞，他們對這次的DECA都進行了很努力的準備，幾乎每個隊伍都手里拿著展示板，拎著電腦，一有空他們就停下來排練演講。除了比賽之外，那些學生也是非常會玩，非常懂得如何去玩，去放松自己。作為一個學生，我覺得這點非常值得我們學習，學得努力，同時也要玩得盡興。

像大人一樣嚴格要求自己 仿佛就是一名久經沙場的商人

Although it's just a competition for high school student, they arrange this very serious. They have series of ceremonies, exhibitions and games. It just gives me a sense as working as an adult. I’ve taken part in the national business competition as well, it more than just a modeling game. It couldn’t give you a real sense and knowledge of business and economy. In DECA, there’re several different sections for you to choose, you can join a particular field that you’re interested and have confidence with. And you need to hand in a real promotion plan and prepare for the presentation to the judgers, just like a real businessman.

盡管這只是一個面向高中生的比賽，但主辦方把它組織地嚴肅而認真。他們設有一系列的開閉幕式，展覽以及游戲。然而這個活動真的給了我一些像大人那樣**的實感。我之前也參加過國內的一些商賽，可這些只是像一般的模擬游戲，對知識及能力的要求并不是那么高。然而DECA有著不同的類別供你去挑選，讓你自己選擇自己最有把握或是最感興趣的去參加，并且你需要自己準備真實的商業計劃書及演講來打動你的評委，用自己對商業及經濟的知識與真實實力來說服他們，就像一個真正的商人那樣。

收獲良多 肯定自我，更要努力補齊短板

From this trip, it clear to see that China delegation don’t have very strong background and knowledge of business and economy while in America, it’s one of the course. And it’s true that in China that school doesn’t pay much attention on business courses during the high school period while these knowledge will be much more important than the basic courses in the future. That’s the point we need to think further.

從此次的表現來看，我們中國代表隊并沒有非常豐富的關于商業與經濟的背景知識，然而在美國，這些是高中生們的必修課。并且現在看來，中國的大部分學校在高中階段并不是很重視商業教育，可是在將來這些知識遠比現在學習的那些要有用的多。這些問題值得我們深思。

Anyway, I’m very glad that I can attend a conference like that, If I have the chance, I will encourage all of you to attend it. It really let me learn something new, widely broaden my horizon.

無論如何，我真的非常開心能夠參加這樣一個大規模的活動，如果我有機會的話，我也非常鼓勵大家去參加這樣的活動，它真的讓我學到了一些東西，擴展了我的視野。
