我是上海燎原國(guó)際高中G10—1班的周子棋，我參加SRC競(jìng)選的初衷是希望能通過(guò)自己對(duì)一些事情的認(rèn)知和見(jiàn)解來(lái)改變周?chē)F(xiàn)存的一些不足，同時(shí)從中積累經(jīng)驗(yàn)，提高自己各方面的能力。參加SRC競(jìng)選首先要進(jìn)行競(jìng)選演講，這是參選的重要部分之一，在眾人面前闡述自己的觀點(diǎn)并說(shuō)服大家是一件不容易的事，這需要文筆、口才、和勇氣。競(jìng)選演講，是我挑戰(zhàn)自己的**步。

由于演講的重要性，我花了大量時(shí)間做了前期準(zhǔn)備**，把能想到的一切訴諸于演講稿內(nèi)。初稿完成后，我卻在修改的過(guò)程中發(fā)現(xiàn)有許多地方需要?jiǎng)h減甚至重寫(xiě)，這使原本自信滿滿的我不免有些小受打擊，我在放棄和繼續(xù)中游走不定。但是，人之所以能，是相信能，萬(wàn)事功到自然成，我不能輕易就敗在開(kāi)始，于是我選擇了后者。及時(shí)的發(fā)現(xiàn)和修正使我贏得了**步，自信幫助我繼續(xù)前行。我在演講稿中提到了不少內(nèi)容，我承諾會(huì)輔助老師讓學(xué)生參與所有他們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)的活動(dòng)并且遵守他們的規(guī)則;我提到了會(huì)盡可能向?qū)W校申請(qǐng)更好的足球場(chǎng)地和運(yùn)動(dòng)器材并且讓更多人喜歡上足球這項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng);我還說(shuō)到了不應(yīng)該有性別歧視，鼓勵(lì)女生勇于參與一切活動(dòng)。要達(dá)成這三點(diǎn)并不容易，但也不十分困難，作為學(xué)生會(huì)代表，我做了承諾，就會(huì)盡**能力去努力實(shí)現(xiàn)。

在競(jìng)選演講之后的一個(gè)星期，我幸運(yùn)地當(dāng)選了SRC的學(xué)生代表。而我能成功不僅僅靠的是自己的能力和細(xì)心的前期準(zhǔn)備，同學(xué)和老師，以及家人的支持和鼓勵(lì)也是必不可少的一個(gè)因素。單單憑借一個(gè)人的力量許多目標(biāo)是無(wú)法達(dá)成的，但是有了許多人的支持，事情似乎就能進(jìn)展地順利許多。同學(xué)在演講前的鼓勵(lì)，老師在我準(zhǔn)備期間的幫助，以及家人對(duì)我一直以來(lái)的支持都是我成功的基礎(chǔ)。我要感謝他們，我認(rèn)為最直接的方法就是將這份**做好。

我喜歡學(xué)校這種通過(guò)演講競(jìng)選職位的方式，這種方式為學(xué)生提供了一個(gè)良性競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的平臺(tái)，使學(xué)生鍛煉了演講口才以及在眾人注目下進(jìn)行演講的勇氣，學(xué)生代表委員會(huì)的設(shè)立也提供給了學(xué)生展示自己才能的機(jī)會(huì)，提升了學(xué)生的辦事能力。

由此看來(lái)，SRC的設(shè)立對(duì)于我們學(xué)校來(lái)說(shuō)是一件好事，如果在未來(lái)更多的學(xué)生能參與其中，這個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)會(huì)更加有意義。

Hi, I’m Ramsey from 10-1. Well, let’s talk about some business right away. What a student leader should do is to guide those who feel lost in their ways go out of the mist and find the right track back again, for the rest, he ought to lead them walking on a correct way which can improve themselves and help them to get rid of their weaknesses. During this significant process, the leader himself will also profit in his ability of leadership. So it is a win-win.Yes, being a successful leader is definitely a big challenge, but I dare to take it because I have confidence that I am able to make changes here, and lead students develop themselves, have critical thinking and judge their actions any time when they do a thing. I, have studied here for a complete year and I have found out a lot of things that need to improve. For example, students are not active enough in their study. They are easily distracted by others in classes and do not pay attention at what the teachers are teaching. In this case, they are not giving teachers deserved respect and also causing awful grades directly in their tests. In addition, a number of students just leave garbage everywhere on the floor and seem do not know there is an object in this world named trash can. It’s your freedom to think ‘It is non of my business so I don’t give a shit’, but it is these qualities and habits which differ you from those people who we call the achievers. I saw potentials on you and the forces are far beyond your weaknesses. What you need to do now is finding and following a wise leader and I believe I can be that capable leader with you. Beside leading students in the ways I’ve just mentioned, I will also lead them in sporting, as we know, exercising is equally important. I like playing soccer and I know clearly some of you also do. So now, here, I make a promise, I will try my best in applying better condition for soccer and lead more students to enjoy it, make it far more important than now. I will also encourage those who like playing basketball more to continue playing it because basketball is also an interesting sport. And teachers, I also make a promise to you that is I will try my best in assisting with you and leading the students to participate in all the activities you design, and follow your rules. Besides, all the ladies, I will never allow gender discrimination. I will let everyone know that females can do their works as well as males. Yo have great capabilities and you are not weaker than anyone else. You are strong enough to achieve your goals. I will do all the things I’ve just told you if I get this job and I think this promise is enough to end up my speech. So, that’s it, thanks a lot.
