我們自豪地宣布：2018 年7月，上海燎原雙語學(xué)校已經(jīng)收到了來自IB國際文憑組織的通知，我校已經(jīng)通過IB PYP項目認(rèn)證，正式成為一所IB世界學(xué)校。

The board and the management of Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School are proud to announce that we have received notification from the International Baccalaureate that LYBS is now an authorized IB World School to offer the IB Primary Years Programme.

PYP 的認(rèn)證過程具有挑戰(zhàn)性，學(xué)校的所有成員都參與了此次的認(rèn)證過程，*括學(xué)生、家長、教師、管理團(tuán)隊和董事會。

The PYP accreditation process is challenging and involves all members of the school community including students, parents, teachers, management team and the board.

兩名經(jīng)驗豐富的 IB 國際文憑組織授權(quán)訪問官在 2018 年 5 月底訪問了燎原雙語學(xué)校，對我校進(jìn)行 IB PYP 項目認(rèn)證。IB 授權(quán)訪問官的**是為了檢驗我校是否達(dá)到了成為 IB 學(xué)校的實施標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，他們訪問的內(nèi)容*括課堂旁聽、學(xué)生面談、家長面談、學(xué)校管理層面談和董事會成員面談，以及對學(xué)校 IB PYP 項目文件和相關(guān)支持的審查。

Our school was visited at the end of May by 2 experienced IB site visitors. Their job was to make sure that our school met the standards and practices to become and IB World School. The visit included, classroom observations, interviews with the leadership team, students, parents and the board and also the school’s documentation and supporting evidence.

上海市燎原雙語學(xué)校是上海為數(shù)不多的成功整合了中國國家課程和 IB PYP 框架的學(xué)校之一，同時我們的所有授課也是在雙語模式下進(jìn)行的。

LYBS is one of the few schools in Shanghai that has successfully integrated the Chinese National Curriculum and the IB PYP Framework while also being delivered using a bilingual model.

在本次 IB PYP 項目認(rèn)證的過程中，IB 授權(quán)訪問官肯定了我校多方面的努力和成果，*括學(xué)校對 IB PYP 項目的深入研究、與教師團(tuán)隊、與學(xué)生家長長期有效的溝通。正如此次 IB PYP 認(rèn)證過程中所強(qiáng)調(diào)的，我校還將繼續(xù)提升和改善 IB PYP 項目在學(xué)校方方面面的推行和實施。

The school received a number of commendations from the IB including that the school community has a high level of understanding of the IB PYP Programme and the effective communication between different parties including parents and the teachers. LYBS will continue to work on improving all aspects of the PYP Programme as also highlighted in the visit.

此次燎原雙語學(xué)校 PYP 項目的認(rèn)證成功僅是一個起點，我們將會繼續(xù)推行 IB 課程的其他項目。我們招募了核心團(tuán)隊以繼續(xù)我們的 IB 之旅，并已經(jīng)成為了 IB MYP 候選學(xué)校，明年還將繼續(xù)啟動 IB PYP 幼兒園早期課程。

LYBS is committed to continuing it IB journey and investing in our different programmes. We have currently recruited several key staff to help continue our IB journey. Our school is currently a candidate school with the MYP and will also launch the PYP in the Early Years next year.
