大家好，我是上海燎原雙語學校國際高中生劉潔妮，今天我想和大家分享我的2017美國之行：

在美國羅德島設計學院學習期間，我度過了一段令人難忘的時光。我用兩周的時間學習了字體設計和基礎繪畫，也為我們的學校精心設計了logo。

I had a memorable experience in America when I studied art in Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). I spent two weeks learning loving letters and mental drawing. I also designed a logo for our school.

我每天早上7點半起床，坐校車去RISD學習3個小時，再然后回到國際學生宿舍然后繼續領導力課程的學習。晚上8點到10點是自由時間，我會在畫室畫畫，或者在地下室玩牌。除此之外，我還抽空去參觀了一些久負盛名的大學，比如布朗大學、紐約視覺藝術大學，帕森斯設計學院和普瑞特藝術學院。

Every morning, I woke up at 7:30 a.m. Then, I went to RISD to study for three hours. After that, I went back to RIA (the dorm for international students) and continued the leadership program. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., I enjoyed my free time. I could either draw in the art room or play card games in the basement. Besides, l also visited several prestigious universities such as Brown, SVA, Parsons and Pratt.

最令我難忘的是我在那里遇到的人。我們總是有很多話可以聊，一起笑一起玩。有時，我們的思考方式在別人眼里是奇怪而難以理解的，但是當我們遇到對方的時候，我們可以很迅速地知道對方在想什么。我覺得這里的學生都是很棒的藝術家和設計師，事實上我很喜歡和他們相處。我們創造的每一件藝術品都特別有意思。能在這里認識來自中國各地的朋友，我感到非常幸運。希望在不久的將來，我們都能進入理想的學校，再次在美國相遇。

The most unforgettable things are the people I met there. We always had lots of things to say, and we laughed and played. Sometimes, our way of thinking in other people’s opinion is strange and unbelievable. But when we met each other, we can get each other’s point quickly. I think students here are very great artists and designers. Actually, I really enjoy staying with these people. Every piece of work we created is amazingly interesting. It is very lucky and nice to meet these friends from different parts of China. I really hope we can meet again in America in our dream school before long.
