近日，上海燎原雙語學校國際高中英文部的四名同學Angela、Erica、James和Lizzie在Mark老師的帶領下，參加了中國高中生美式辯論聯賽上海地區的比賽。盡管對手實力強勁，但同學們還是頂住了壓力，自信地完成了任務。

參賽選手感言

“本次比賽對我意義重大。我遇到了許多強大的對手，他們的英文很好，辯論技術也很出色。因為這是我**次參加這樣正式的辯論賽，所以一開始我真的非常緊張。但慢慢地，我在這個活動中變得自信起來。相信以后我會成為一名更好的辯手。

This competition is really meaningful to me. I met a lot of opponents with outstanding English level as well as brilliant debate skill. Since this is my first time to participate in such a formal competition, I was really nervous at the beginning. But gradually I gained much more confidence during this event. I believe I can become a better debater in the future. (Erica)”

“這次的辯論賽讓我獲益良多。我是**次參加如此正式的比賽。我遇到了一些出色的對手，他們不僅具有很強的辯論能力，英文水平也高。我盡了**努力，在辯論的過程中我充滿自信，心情舒暢。當我響亮地把自己的觀點說出來時，我很高興。那個時刻超贊，也非常寶貴。

This debate competition benefits me a lot. It's the first time for me to join a very formal debate competition. I met some nice opponents which have brilliant debating skills and high English level. I tried my best and I felt more confident and comfortable through I was debating. And I really enjoyed it when I was saying my argument out loudly in front of others. That moment was really amazing and precious. (Angela)”

中國高中生美式辯論聯賽

(National High School Debate League of China)是目前中國**的外語類高中生辯論聯賽。聯賽每年在30多個城市舉辦50多場地區賽，有350多所高中成為聯賽會員學校，參加比賽的高中生已經超過5,000名。美式辯論是世界上最有趣的辯論形式之一，由擲硬幣結果產生的偶然性、激烈的攻辯、快速的臨場反應以及題目的深度和廣度都是這一辯論形式的顯著特色。
