近日，上海燎原雙語學校國際高中(英文部)10年級學生進行了ESL課程視頻作業(yè)的反饋。這是本學期的個人項目，是對知識掌握程度的總結，目的是希望大家在生活中良好運用additions and responses。我們以班級為單位，每個同學的視頻研究主題都是不一樣的(研究主題涉及兩個相似的事物)。 確定好主題后，我們上網查找資料并采取實地考察、采訪、問卷等方式總結出至少4個方面的共同點和不同點。

Recently, we had a Grade 10 ESL video show . This is our individual project of this semester which shows how much we have learned. The main purpose is to let us know the proper way of using additions and responsesin daily life. Every student in each class has their unique topic (a pair of items)to compare and contrast from at least four aspects. In order to have a holistic view on the topic, we used different methods and approaches such as interviews, surveys, data collection, field work, etc.

大家好，我是Raymond Gao，很高興自己成功地完成了這個項目。

我花了很多時間研究這個問題。例如，我花了近3到4個小時來記錄**部分的5分鐘。我一遍又一遍地記錄每個句子和詞，直到我對它們感到滿意**。

我之所以選擇上海和首爾這兩個國際城市，主要原因是我住在上海，另外，我已經去過首爾很多次了。我認為這兩個城市有很多相同和不同的地方讓我來比較和對比。

另外，我想感謝我的ESL老師Zoe Liu，她支持我，幫助我做這個**。

Hi, I'm Raymond Gao. I am very glad that I succeed this project.

I used plenty of time to work on the video. For example, for the 5 minutes recording part I spent almost 3-4 hours. I recorded each sentence and word time after time until I felt satisfied with my work.

The main reason why I choose Shanghai and Seoul, two international cities, is because I live in Shanghai and I had already been to Seoul many times. I suggested that these two cities share lots of similarities and differences, which is easy for me to compare and contrast.

Moreover, I want to appreciate my ESL teacher Zoe Liu who supports me and help me work on this a lot.(^-^)

我一共花了至少3個禮拜的課余時間來完成這份主題為ZARA和H&M的個人視頻作業(yè)。 前兩個禮拜， 老師要求我們寫出四個想分享的方面的大綱概要。原本以為自己不會花太長時間去完成這份研究，但相反，這著實需要一個過程，*括在網上尋找品牌資料，搜集一些有利用價值的信息，實地考察和整合等。

從這個項目中我了解了有關ZARA和H&M 的基本信息，也**了怎樣用IMOVIE 和愛剪輯來制作簡單的視頻。更重要的是，現(xiàn)在我已熟練掌握這個語法點。

通過這一次的整體視頻總結，我從其他優(yōu)秀作品里找到了自己與他們的差距，也將繼續(xù)修改和完善，爭取更多的進步。

I spent at least 3 weeks to complete my individual video about Zara and H&M. In the first week of the project, the teacher asked me to write the outlines about the 4 aspects that I wanted to share. I thought it would only take me a few time to finish my analysis, but to my surprise, it was actually a great process to work, searching the official internet for each brand online, writing down the useful data, having field work in each store, etc.

From this project, I knew the basic information and strategies from Zara and H&M in the process of making video. I learned how to make a basic movie from IMOVIE and AIJIANJI as well. More importantly, I fully mastered how to use this form of sentences, such as “so do I” “Neither doesshe”, etc.

From the feedback of other excellent videos, I found the gap between me and other students. And this kind of feedback activity can let me know how to improve in order to do better nexttime.

最近，10年級全體同學在lecture hall上了一節(jié)特別的ESL課。我們欣賞了一些學生制作的優(yōu)秀視頻。我從這個作業(yè)中見識了很多非常有創(chuàng)造力的想法和炫酷的視頻制作技巧。特別是Betty的視頻，她的視頻中的一個采訪很有質量。而在Lily的視頻中則有很多有趣的小細節(jié)，比如切題的廣告流行歌曲，吸引人的開場和收場白等。總而言之，我覺得這是一個相互學習的好機會，與此同時，大家也收獲了很多樂趣。

Recently, all of the grade 10 students had a special ESL class in lecture hall. We appreciated some excellent videos, which made by our classmates. I saw plenty of creative ideas and brilliant video making skills through their projects. Especially Betty Tu's video, there is even a qualitative interview in her video. What's more, there are also many small interesting details in Lily Wang's work, such as the nice advertising song and attractive prologue and epilogue. To sum up, I think it is a great chance to really learn from each other and most of us had a lot of fun.
