上海燎原雙語學校國際部高中班學員迎來了別開生面的服裝設計選修課，兩位老師帶來了小型織布機，讓學生們親手體驗織布。課堂上，在老師的指導下，學生們了解了如何和面料打交道，如何通過織布做出手袋，圍巾和其他織品。在英文部高中，我們開設了諸多將理論知識和動手能力結合在一起的設計課程，今天的服裝設計課也秉承一樣的理念。

從照片里可以看出，學生們非常踴躍，精力充沛，被這個新體驗所折服，有一些同學已經開始在計劃從淘寶上買一個小織布機了。看樣子，英文部高中就快有個織布俱樂部啦。

Today, our students had a special class in fashion design. The teachers brought in looms to give the class hands-on weaving experience, let them understand what it was like to work with textiles and develop their own bags, scarfs and other creations. Many of our design classes work by alternating between hands on experience and discussion of theory and today was no different. The students were very enthusiastic, enthralled by this new experience and a few even starting talking about getting a loom from taobao right after class. Looks like Liaoyuan might have a new weaving club soon.
