作為IB候選學校，上海燎原雙語學校為每一位PYP老師提供專業發展機會。2018年1月26日與27日，我校成功開展了“小學項目的課堂實施”培訓活動。兩位培訓師Niko Lewman和Narcy He有數年的小學項目實踐經驗，他們都是IB訪問團成員，同時，Narcy還是我校小學項目主管。

As an IB candidate school, Liaoyuan provides professional development opportunities for every PYP teacher. On Jan 26 and 27, two in-school IB workshops on “Making the PYP Happen” were conducted in Liaoyuan by Niko Lewman and Narcy He (PYP Director of Liaoyuan), both of whom are experienced workshop leaders and visiting team members.

正如培訓主題本身所言，此次培訓的目的不僅僅是讓老師理解小學項目的理念、標準與實施要求，關鍵是要幫助老師真正能夠在課堂上實施小學項目，能夠為自己的學生提供符合小學項目標準的學習體驗。

As its name describes, the purpose of the workshop is to support participants to “make the PYP really happen in the classroom” for themselves and for their students, not just in understanding the philosophy, or standards and practices of the PYP.

此次培訓中，老師們探索了小學項目課程、五大要素、知識的建構以及探究教學方法等，通過小組協作和自我反思，形成了自己的理解。兩位培訓師分享了他們寶貴的教學經驗，解答了老師們急需解答的問題，滿滿的干貨，讓老師們受益良多。

In the workshop, teachers explored the PYP curriculum, essential elements, constructivism, and inquiry by inquiring, and constructing meaning themselves, both collaboratively and through individual reflection. The work leaders shared their valuable best practices, and answered the burning questions from the teachers, which is very practical.
