文學創意寫作比賽在國際課程班是傳統學術活動。在過去的2019-2020學年，上海燎原雙語學校國際課程班又一次舉行了文學創意寫作比賽，同學們展現了自己原創的小說、詩歌和散文。接下來就一起了解下燎原的創意寫作比賽，并附獲獎同學名單。

今年國際課程班仍然如期舉行了創意寫作比賽，今年對師生們來說組織比賽的確不易。創意寫作比賽給了孩子們一個機會來展現他們的寫作能力。希望孩子們在寫作中富有創意并自由表達，同時也“炫”一下自己的英語能力，分享他們在這一年的收獲。

This year saw the students in LYBS take part in our Creative Writing Competition. It has been a difficult year for students and teachers, and we ran this competition during our second semester to give students a chance to showcase their writing abilities. We wanted students to be creative and free in their writing, to show off their English skills, and share what they learned this academic year.

文學創意寫作冊

此次寫作比賽向所有年級的同學們征稿，*括IEP、9年級、10年級和11年級。同學們按照三個類別選擇自己喜歡的內容展開創作：短篇小說、詩歌或散文。同學們提交的稿件由文學組老師們根據作品的原創度和內容來評選。

同學們可以對任何自己喜歡的話題或者很想寫的內容開展寫作。一些同學擅長寫小說，主題圍繞愛、戰爭和沖突。很多同學寫自己的個人經歷：分享回憶、思考和感受。

The competition was open to all LYBS high school students- IEP, grades 9, 10 and 11. Students were asked to compose a piece of writing under the categories of short story, poetry or essay. The writing submissions we received were judged based on the originality of the short story or essay and the quality of the content. The subject and theme was open for all categories. Students were able to write about whatever topics they were interested in or felt strongly about. Some of the student submissions dealt with stories and themes about love, war and conflict. Many students wrote personal stories, sharing their memories, thoughts and feelings.

文學創意寫作比賽收到了各年級的同學們的稿件。感謝所有參賽的同學們。創作詩歌、短篇小說或者散文并非易事，需要花費時間構思，花心思遣詞造句。大家完成度很高!

We got some great submissions from students across the grades, and we would like to thank all those who participated in the competition this year. It is not easy to create a good poem, short story or essay. It requires a lot of time, dedication and work. Well done to all those students who took part and took the time to compose a piece for the competition.

在此感謝文學組老師們，通過這個比賽幫助同學們提高英文、磨練寫作能力。感謝文學組的老師們在整個學年的文學學習中悉心教授和鼓勵同學們。我們希望明年的比賽會有更多同學參與。燎原有非常多擅長寫作的同學們，讓我們一起期待未來看到更多優秀的作品。

LYBS would also like to acknowledge and thank the teachers who helped in improving students’ the English ability, writing skills, and for the help and encouragement they gave throughout the year and during this competition. We hope that next year we can continue with this great competition. We know that LYBS has some talented writers, and we hope to see more of their work in the future.
