財富是什么?是香車豪宅、家財萬貫，還是博古通今、學富五車?對于不同的人，這個問題或許有不同的答案。但無論如何，真正的財富一定是我們認為非常有價值的東西。光華美高本期的演講話題就圍繞著“真正的財富是否應該由金錢來權衡”展開。

本場**位選手蘇子恒同學認為一個人的財富和金錢沒有關系，人類真正的財富其實是自身的知識和品德，有一天可能你的錢花光了，可是你的知識和品德是永遠不會丟失的。

Both of Beethoven and Mozart is the most famous musician in the world, but they have the same achievement. But is their success related to money? The answer is no. Beethoven’s success was due to the courage to challenge fate. Mozart’s success was due to the courage to tireless practice. Without Beethoven and Mozart’s insistence, it would be useless if they had any more money. A man’s wealth is not only but also knowledge and character.

第二位選手王可迪的觀點是金錢不一定能斷定人們真正的價值。一個人可以一無所有，但他卻擁有富有的精神財富，那么他也是具有價值的。一個人的真正價值是他對這整個世界貢獻了什么。

In summary, the real wealth of a man can’t be measured in money. The real wealth of a man is how much he contributed to the world. So, we need to show ourselves. To show ourselves what we got. To show ourselves what we can. To show ourselves ability to everyone. Show your great idea and quality. All of these are invaluable. And at that time, no one need to measure your real wealth be measured in money. You are an invaluable person.

第三位選手祝莉淇認為真正的財富從來就不是金錢可以衡量的。生命如花，盛開過后，就會枯萎，被人遺忘。我們一直擁有的東西就是頭腦的智慧和獨特的品質，我們的思維、發明和創新不會離開我們。因此，我們應該付諸行動，**化所擁有的財富。

Solomon once said that all is vanity. Once we leave this world, all our money will either be passed on or inherited by other. What goes along with us is the legacy that we created. The good deeds that we did for the world, for our relatives cannot be measured by money. The wisdom we have within ourselves is unique, and it is the real wealth we get at the end of the day.

第四位選手郭梓烽認為真正的財富是金錢和精神的糅合，正如中國古代的太極一樣，相生相惜，相輔相成。用金錢打理外表，將自己的物質生活落實;用精神修養內心，將自己思想進一步升華。

I think that the real wealth is the perfect combination of these two kinds of wealth. If only the spirit and no money, just like Zhuang Zhou who in the warring states period: didn’t bow for the five buckets of rice. Or like Tao Yuanming in the eastern Jin dynasty “Plum wife crane child”, I guess I can not suffer for two or three days. But if, like rural residents, only has money without education, say two or three words and then add a dirty word, it will also be unbearable. Therefore, those who possess both spiritual wealth and material wealth are truly rich. Just like Einstein and Newton, they collected wealth, decided the basis with material, and then sublimated themselves with spirit, raising themselves to another level. Matter and spirit are just like the ancient Chinese Tai chi,which are complementary to each other.

第五位選手陳睿智發現當今社會很多人認為一個人的富有取決于金錢。但在他看來，金錢只是物質財富的一部分，物質帶來的享受固然重要，但人的精神財富與思維方式才是更重要的財富，例如馬云憑借著超強的思維能力打造了自己的商業帝國。

But, as far as i am concerned, money is just a material thing that is popular in human life, but it’s indispensable or too important for people. There are so many examples i can provide for you. Everyone knows jack ma right? He was born in a very poverty village. But he, a human, with strong ability of thinking, purposely to do something, like us. Which means we all have ability to still in life or live in the modern society depends on our thinking dimensions and intelligence. Like what i said before about adult, according to it, we assume that the real estate is equivalent with real money, many people among you may feel very comfortable and may shouting: ha ha ha, finally! I’m living in Manhattan same as Matt Wang! Just like this right? But have you ever seen this questions? If one day, in china, the economic depression is coming and the real estates with huge loans from banks or other financial institutions. Maybe it can be a problem to me.. so, what should do? What extra things, can maintain their life? Or the way to exchange goods for them? In that situation, money is useless for us, what’s the purpose of we getting money.

第六位選手戴奕晨認為，真正的財富不只是物質方面的，還有精神方面的。有些人生活在水深火熱之中，但他們依然勇敢地面對生活，他們擁有的財富就是對生命的敬畏和執著。此外，他還認為友情也是真正的財富，良好的人脈能解決很多難題。最后，他堅信：一個人的財富不能成為他最終的生命價值。

It is universally acknowledged that friendship is one of the most important factor for a people to be successful.It is because that an extensive friendship is able to help you a lot with whatever difficulties in your life.I still remembered that our headmaster Eric Wan had ever said that faster will a person walk but further will a group to go.When you are difficult, people who give you a help are your friends;When you are frustrated,people who always use the warmest words to comfort you are your friends.They are the best, so you guys do.

本場六位同學的演講各具特色，大家一致認為金錢不是財富的決定性因素，思維方式、知識、創造力和友誼等都是更為重要的財富。最后，戴同學憑借出色的發揮以99.3的成績獲得了本場演講的**名，讓我們繼續期待下一場的精彩演講!
