經(jīng)過近一個月的課程申報、選課調(diào)整、教學(xué)準備等繁瑣的前期**，承載著學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的殷切關(guān)懷，同事們的熱切關(guān)心和同學(xué)們的熱情期望，上海燎原國際高中TIGER篆刻**室終于正式開課了!衷心向荊洪光校長、齊亞德學(xué)術(shù)主任和各位同事及同學(xué)們致以誠摯的謝意!

Through one month’s preparation including course application, selection, and adjustment, Tiger’s Seal Cutting is finally opening with eager expectation and enthusiasm from teachers and students. Here I’d like to express my great thanks to our principal, director teacher Ziad and all the other teachers and students.

為貫徹上海市燎原雙語學(xué)校“全球視野、國學(xué)傳承、科學(xué)精神、人文素養(yǎng)”的育人目標，我校國際課程班除了開設(shè)日常必修課程和“中國智慧課程”外，還專門開設(shè)了一系列的選修課程，同學(xué)們可根據(jù)自己的興趣愛好，每天一節(jié)，自由選擇，篆刻是其中的重要一門課程。

In order to carry out Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School education target “global view, Chinese culture inheritance, scientific spirit and humanistic mind”, our school has opened a series of courses, in addition to compulsory courses Chinese Wisdom. The students can choose any course according to their own interests and hobbies. Seal cutting is one of the those important elective courses.

篆刻起源于我國的商朝，是從甲骨文發(fā)展而來，至今已有3700多年的歷史。它是將中國書法與鐫刻相結(jié)合用于制作印章的一門藝術(shù)形式，2009年被收入《人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表作名錄》。它不僅是我國傳統(tǒng)文化的重要代表而且還是世界文化遺產(chǎn)的重要組成部分。

Seal cutting has a long history of more than 3700 years form Shang Dynasty of China. It is an art form, which combines Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting for making seal. It has been enlisted into Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanityin2009.The art of sealcutting is a key representative of the Chinese traditional culture and also an important component of the world cultural heritage.

TIGER篆刻**室的教學(xué)遵循從簡單到復(fù)雜，從模仿到創(chuàng)作的原則。篆刻的具體步驟從單字到多字，從白文到紅文，從方形到隨形。篆刻的內(nèi)容選自我國傳統(tǒng)文化典籍《論語》《易經(jīng)》《道德經(jīng)》的名言警句，同學(xué)們在學(xué)習(xí)篆刻的過程中，自覺接受傳統(tǒng)文化的熏陶。

TIGER seal cutting studio guides students from simple to complex, from imitation to creation. Seal cutting steps are from single word to words, from Bai Wen to Red Wen, from the square to others. Seal cutting choose content from traditional Chinese classics The Analects of Confucius, The Book of Changes, The Daodejing. During seal cutting learning process, the students will gradually accept the influence of traditional culture.

TIGER篆刻**室的培養(yǎng)目標就是要讓同學(xué)們自覺傳承我國傳統(tǒng)文化的精髓，培養(yǎng)同學(xué)們對篆刻藝術(shù)的興趣愛好，發(fā)展同學(xué)們對篆刻藝術(shù)的鑒賞能力，通過對篆刻藝術(shù)的學(xué)習(xí)，從而提高同學(xué)們的文化內(nèi)涵，做一個既具有中國傳統(tǒng)文化素養(yǎng)又具有國際視野的世界公民。

The teaching purpose of seal cutting is to cultivate students' interests in traditional culture, to cultivate art appreciation ability and develop students’ cultural awareness, which helps make world citizens with both Chinese traditional cultural knowledge and international vision.
