上海燎原國際高中2016年秋季已經正式開學授課，新生們適應的怎么樣呢？下面我們就一起去聽聽新生十年級三班的常歡的燎原學習生活感悟：在燎原，有親切友好的同學、專業奉獻的老師、具大智慧的校長、團結向上的班集……

懷著好奇與忐忑，我來到了燎原

大家好，我是來自十年級三班的常歡，是今年入校的新生，能夠作為新生代表站在這里分享我們的夏令營生活是我的榮幸。四天前我們剛剛結束了新生夏令營，并在學校與我們的新同學和新老師們一起度過了十天的時光。

Hello everyone, this is Evelyn from class three grade ten, and I’m anew student here this year in Liaoyuan. It’s a great honor for me to stand hereas a representative of the new students and share our school life for these tendays. We have just finished our Summer Camp four days ago, and spent ten daysin this new school with our new classmates and teachers.

八月十九日，懷著些許忐忑，我拖著行李箱來到了學校。對于大多數同學來說，這都是我們**次離開父母住在學校里。事實上，在來學校之前我很是擔心我日后的住校生活。要是我的室友們和我的生活習慣不同該怎么辦?許多問題困擾著我。然而，幸運的是，我所想的所有事情都沒有發生。我的室友們都很友好，而且我們都在同一個班級。在開營儀式上，我有些驚訝于這個學校有這么多外籍教師。盡管在此之前我也在國際學校念過一個學期的書，但在那里我們所能夠接觸到的外教數量卻很少。因此我對未來的學習生活也更為期待起來。在晚自習期間，班里的所有人都做了自我介紹并指派了臨時班委。沒有想到的是，我竟成為了臨時的學習委員。

On the nineteenth of August, I carried my luggage and came to theschool with a little uneasy. For most of us, its the first time to leave ourparents and live in the school. Actually, I had been really worried about myaccommodation life before I came here. What if my roommates don’t have the samelife style as me? Many problems perplexed me. However, fortunately, all thesethings I had thought about didn’t happen. All my roommates are friendly and weare all in the same class. At the opening ceremony, it was a little surprise tome that the school has so many foreign teachers. Although I had studied in aninternational school for a semester before, the amount of the foreign teacherswe could get in touch with was finite there. So I am really looking forward tothe school life here in the future. During the time for evening study, all thepeople in our class introduced ourselves and designated the temporary classcommittees. Unexpectedly, I became the Study Secretary which I had neverthought about before.

軍訓讓我們團結在一起

在這之后的一天，我們迎來了夏令營的重頭戲——軍訓。我們班和五班的幾個同學一起組成了一個新的隊伍并為我們分配了一位幽默的教官。我們以站軍姿作為開端，而后我們又復習了一些基本的動作，同時我們還學習了如何有序地踏步走和跑步。我們每天練習四個小時，大部分同學都曬黑了不少。心之所愿，無所不成，在這九天的訓練當中我們之間的關系變得更加融洽起來，彼此之間變得更加有默契了，并在最后一天的展示中發揮出色。

The next day we ushered the most important part of the SummerCamp--the military training. Our class was combined with some students fromclass five and got a humorous drillmaster. We practiced standing like soldiersat first, then we reviewed some basic actions, and we also learned to walk andrun orderly. We trained for 4 hours every day, and most of us were tanned.Nothing is impossible for a willing heart, we built rapport during these 9days’ training, and did a great job in the final presentation.

有趣的團隊意識培養活動

在剩余的時間里，我們聽了一些關于課程介紹的課并且完成了文學課的考試以便開學后的分層。除此之外，我們還做了一些關于團隊合作的游戲，有些是以一整個班級為整體還有些是小組之間的游戲。不可否認的是，所有的游戲都增強了我們的團隊合作意識。每個班級都被安排用身體來拼寫出“上海燎原雙語學校”中的一個詞，我們班被分到的是“燎原”這個詞。我對此我做出了拼寫方案并**不遺漏班中的任何一個同學，但我們的臨時班長卻與我有著不同的方案，所以我們就都按照他所想的方案實施了，并成功完成了任務。有的時候，過程其實并沒有成功的結果來的那么重要。在我們所玩的所有游戲當中，給我留下印象最深的一個游戲是一個小組游戲。同學們通過給出的提示在學校中尋找人或物。我們組的所有人在這個活動中都很是活躍。在游戲的過程中我們嘗試著與老師們用英語進行溝通交流，并仔細地搜查校園的每一個角落。這次經歷給我們帶來了與人用英語交流和更好熟悉校園的機會。我認為我的團隊在這項活動中的表現很是出色，無論是否能夠拿到比賽的**名，我們所獲得的遠比榮譽還要多。

In the rest of the time, we had some classes about courses’descriptions and also had a test for literature to layer. In addition to this,we played some team games as well. Some were for the whole class and otherswere for a small group. It can be said with certainly that all the games weplayed built our team spirit. Every class was asked to spell one word of“Shanghai LiaoYuan Bilingual School” by our bodies. Our class was asked tospell the word “LiaoYuan” , I planned how to spell the word with no one lost,but it seemed that my plan wasn’t as same as our temporary monitor’s. So wejust obeyed his scheme and finished the work. Sometimes, the process is not soimportant as the completeness ending. Among all the games we played, the onewhich impressed me most was a group game which wanted us to find things or peoplein the school according to the hints. All of our group members were active inthis game. We tried to ask the teachers in English, and observed the school ina careful way. It was a really great experience for us to try to speak Englishwith others and also got familiar with the school. I think our team did areally great job, no matter whether we can get the first prize, there’s nodenying the fact that we got something more important than honor.

校長的講話醍醐灌頂

校長的演講也給我留下了深刻的印象。他談論了好人和壞人的定義。在當今社會中，人們普遍認為一個人只要不做壞事他就不是一個壞人而是一個好人。然而，事實上，如今百分之一百的好人已然十分罕見，大多數人所能做的也僅僅只是不做一個壞人罷了。作為燎原的學生，我們必須記住不論未來會是怎樣，我們都該堅持做自己并盡力做一個好人，不被利益所迷惑。

Furthermore, the speech from our principal made a deep impression onme. He talked about definition of good people and bad people. In the currentsociety, people generally think if someone doesn’t do something bad, he’s justnot a bad person, but a good one instead. However, actually, someone who is a100 percent good person is infrequent now. What most of the people can do isjust not to be bad people. As students in Liaoyuan, we must remember No matterwhat the future will be like, we should be ourselves and try to be a goodperson who won’t be captivated by benefits.

確定目標不懈奮斗

作為一個新學生，我們在Ruby 的引導下設立了新學期的目標。我們設立了不同領域的目標。我設立了一個關于英語學習的，一個關于第二外語的，還有一個關于體育運動的。其中一個是我希望能夠有所進步的，一個是我所感興趣的，還有一個是我所不擅長的。如果在新學期里我可以達成這三個目標，那么對于我來說，就是一大成功。在我看來，設立目標可以讓我們認清自己，這讓我們知道了我們自己的長處所在，同時也讓我們知道什么是我們還需努力的。希望每個人都可以記住自己所立下的目標，并努力去實現它們。

As new students, we also set up our goals under the leadership ofRuby. We set up the goals in different territories. I set up a goal aboutEnglish study, another for second foreign language and a third for sport. Iaimed at the part I wanted to improve, the one I am interested in, and also thething I’m not good at. If I can do these three things well in this semester, tome, its just a kind of success. In my opinion, setting up goals can make usidentify ourselves, it makes us know what our advantages are, and also what westill need to make efforts on. Hope everyone can remember the goals they setup, and attempt to achieve all of them.

無規矩不成方圓

YuLee老師還做了一個關于校園守則的演講。他提到了校園中的手機使用規定。所有準則中最為重要的還是英語使用準則。在我看來，這條規定給我們帶來了不小的好處，盡管可能剛開始時同學們未必能夠適應純英語的語言環境，但我相信這條規定能使我們在未來更熟練地用英語對話。如果有一天我們開始習慣用英語與人交流，那我們也就無需擔心出國以后的生活了。

What’s more, Dr. Yu had a lecture about school rules. He talkedabout the rules about using telephones. And the most important one is theEnglish Only rule. In my point of view, this is a rule which can bring greatbenefits to us. Although maybe most of us won’t adapt this rule at first, but Ibelieve that this rule can make us have conversations in English better in thefuture. If one day we can form the habit of saying English, we won’t have toworry about the life after we go abroad.

期待在燎原度過一段充實快樂的學習時光

通過這些日子，我們已經對彼此有了更深的了解，所以我們班級決定再一次挑選正式班委。我們通過自薦和他人推薦來決定初步的人選，并用投票的方式決定最終的名單。最后我如愿成為了副班長。雖然我之前并沒有這方面的經驗，但我相信只要我盡我所能也一樣可以做得很好。

Through these days, we know each other better, so our class decidedto choose the class committees again formally. We decided the candidates byself-nominations and others’ recommendations, and we voted for the final ones.In the end, I became the new vice monitor as I always wanted to. I hadn’t hadany experience before, nevertheless I believe if I try my best I will do agreat job.

這些日子對我們來說意義非凡，夏令營增進了同學與老師們之間的感情。作為十年級的新生，我們還能在這個學校度過兩年的時光。我將以這句話來結束我的演講：愿所有人都能在新學期中度過一段美好的時光。謝謝大家。

These ten days are really meaningful to us, the summer camp promotedthe relationship between classmates and teachers. As a new student in gradeten, we will still have two years to stay with each other. I will conclude bysaying that hoping everyone can have a great time this semester. Thanks foryour listening.
