5月23日，光華美高迎來了本學期第十場英語公眾演講活動。在演講開始之前，同學們一邊在場外來回踱步，一邊緊盯著手中的演講稿做最后的準備。在緊張之余，一個個也是摩拳擦掌，躍躍欲試。本場的主持人是十一年級嚴涌如同學，共六位同學參加本場演講，分別是九年級的季同學、汪同學、葉同學、鄭同學、孫同學以及十年級的楊同學。本期的選題十分豐富，既有強身健體的中華武術，也有神秘莫測的宇宙黑洞，還有一些赫赫有名的名人故事等等，精彩的演講令臺下的聽眾莫不拍手叫好，流連忘返。

季同學 Stereotype

季同學的演講內容是大家非常熟的一個心理學現象——刻板印象。刻板印象指的是人們對某一類人或事物產生的比較固定、概括而籠統的看法，它對我們的社會信息加工過程起到很大的影響。它既有積極的一面，也有消極的一面。刻板印象離我們并不遙遠，我們的日常生活中就存在很多刻板印象的例子。比如有關性別的刻板印象，如中國的“男強女弱”，整體上大家都認為男性優于女性。當然，不同的人對于刻板印象有不同的理解。她提倡大家拋開雜念，追隨自己的內心，用明亮的雙眼和智慧的大腦冷靜地看待世界。

For me,Stereotype does exist.How could you believe yourself between self and group.To respect and to understand others,While keep inner power to be yourself.Keep fool and carry on.Maybe you can choose to follow your idol,At the same time you can also be an idol for others.

汪同學 Black Hole

汪同學的演講圍繞著宇宙黑洞這個神秘的話題的展開。他先向大家展示了前些日子剛發現的人類歷史上初次拍攝到的黑洞照片。接著，結合著精致的PPT，他進一步解釋黑洞是什么。黑洞是現代廣義相對論中，宇宙空間內存在的一種天體。黑洞的引力很大，使得視界內的逃逸速度大于光速，以至于沒有任何粒子甚至光線等電磁輻射都能從中逃逸。之后，他又繼續說明黑洞的歷史和形成過程，向大家科普了關于黑洞的科學知識。

The history of black hole started from an explosion of a supernova. When it happens, the star core collapses under its own gravity with such a strong inward force that it squeezes nuclei and particles together. Electrons are pushed into protons, so they merge and turn into neutrons. The atom is suddenly completely filled with particles which don’t want to be close to each other. They push back with electromagnetic force against gravitational collapse. If gravity wins, they will become a black hole. If they win, they become a neutron star.

葉同學 Kong Fu

葉同學的演講主要圍繞功夫展開。一提高中國功夫，想必大家都不會陌生。中國功夫就是傳統的武術，是以技擊為主要內容，以套路和搏斗為運動形式，注重內外兼修的中國傳統體育項目，是中國人民長期積累起來的一宗寶貴文化遺產。葉同學本身對中國武術十分感興趣，也是一位**的習武小達人。對他來說，功夫的意義就是準確地表達自己。功夫不僅僅是一些表演，而是這種鍛煉來更好地表達自我，更好地塑造自我，無論是外在的形體，還是內在的靈魂。

So successful combination is both of them,not a pure nature.Therefore the idea is nutural nature or unnatural nature.To me The Ultimate Meaning of Kungfu is to Express yourself accurately.It is the most difficult,you have to train,you have to keep your reflexes so that when you want it, its there, when you want to move,you are moving.When you act, you have already made up your mind to act.Not error one inch, even one millimeter.when I want a punch, I am doing it.In a word,empty your mind, be formless,shapeless, like water,water can flow or it can crash.Be water my friend.

鄭同學 The Big Bang

鄭同學分享了英國偉大的演講家溫斯頓·丘吉爾的故事。在他看來，在過去一些特殊的歷史時期，從某種意義上講，世界在下墜，需要爆炸來改變悲慘的社會。也許超人能拯救世界，但我們都知道超人死了，那誰又能改變世界?在世界歷史上，有很多人和你我沒有什么區別，但是他們卻改變了社會，造就了一個不能被磨損的時代。在二戰時期，英國的戰時首相溫斯頓·丘吉爾因演講而出名。他團結英國人民，甚至帶領英國從失敗的邊緣走向勝利。在那個硝煙彌漫的時代，丘吉爾無異于是英國人的一顆救星，帶領人民迎接勝利的曙光。

The world is keeping down. It needs Big Bang to change bad societies. Maybe a superman, but as we know superman died. Therefore, who can change the world?In the world history, there're many people who are not different between you and me, but they changed the societies and defensed eras which cannot be worn out. Today, the speaker are talking about Winston Churchill. He was famous as his speech. He rallied the British people and even led the country from the brink of defeat to victory.

孫同學 Chinese Traditional Dishes

孫同學的演講與中國的飲食文化息息相關。他認為，作為中國文化不可分割的一部分，餐飲文化在世界上享有很高的聲譽。中國傳統菜肴的烹飪方法非常講究，八大菜系各領千秋。長期以來，由于食材和習俗的差異，不同地方的飲食習慣和口味都有很大差異，每一種菜肴都有獨特的地方。烹飪技術由歷代人民不斷地改造，形成豐富多彩的地方美食，不同的文化背景、不同的飲食概念和飲食習慣，最終都將促成多種多樣飲食文化的形成。

Chinese traditional dishes are very particular about cooking methods. Common methods include boiling, steaming, boiling, stewing, roasting, cooking, frying and so on. And for a long time, due to the differences in products and customs, the dietary habits and tastes of different places are quite different. The long-standing cooking technology has been created by the people of past dynasties, forming a rich and colorful local cuisine, such as Fujian cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, Guangdong cuisine, Beijing cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Su cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Hui cuisine, Hu cuisine, Hubei cuisine, Liao cuisine, Henan cuisine and so on.

楊同學 Support Domestic Product

楊同學演講主題是支持國內產品。在她看來，在這個多元化的購物時代，她更傾向于支持國內產品，但這并不意味著我們不能使用進口商品，也并不意味著外國品牌不好。結合自身的生活，她提到自己也會使用國外的商品，但是是因為必須商品的質量值得信賴，而不是像其他人一樣盲目地追趕潮流。此外，她還指出市面上存在一些假冒偽劣商品，這就需要我們在購物時要認真分辨，同時她也相信國家會進一步采取有效措施治理嚴格打假，以保護消費者的權宜。

Although my topic today is to support domestic product, it does not mean that we can’t use imported goods or foreign brands are not good at all.As for me, I also use foreign goods, but what I want to say is that we have to pay more attention on quality instead of simply chasing the trend like others, we need to calm down and think carefully. Although there are still some disturbing news about fake goods, please have faith in our country and have confidence in yourself. Thanks for listening.

最后，經過評委們的嚴謹評判，功夫小子葉宇庭憑借出色的發揮拿下了本場演講的**名，贏得了觀眾的陣陣歡呼。雖然很多同學是**次站在演講臺上，盡管在上臺前會萬分緊張，忐忑不安，但他們最終通過出色的表現證明了自己的實力!面對挑戰，智者無惑，勇者無懼，勇敢地邁出**步，世界就在你的腳下!
