光華美高第三屆英語公眾演講

**位選手付同學演講的主題是校園生活，他認為到了高年級，在反思為結交朋友所做出過的努力時，才意識到克服困難和獲得成功不是交談的唯一話題，分享自己的失敗和孤獨同樣也很重要。知道自己真正想要的是什么是一件很困難的事，找到與自己志同道合的人同樣很難得。懂得了這些，付之裔同學認為自己變得樂意敞開心扉，不厭其煩地為他人伸出援手。

While I much rather like to think of us as the nerd future of the world. I think that it is important when big brothers speak with little brothers that we not only talk about overcoming and successes but also our failures and loneliness. It is hard for people to admit what they need, and even harder when they are hurting to imagine anyone can relate to them. So by being the first to open up and put me out there, I'd like to allow others to reach out as well. We inspire change by making our own change.

第二位選手龔同學探討的主題是“演講”，他首先給演講下了定義，然后區分了不同類別的演講，最后，龔昱晨同學分享了演講過程中要注意的一些問題，他認為演講要有邏輯，要盡量簡潔，技巧方面控制要音量和語速等。

Think about it, if there is a man always shaking his body when he talking to you, will you feel good? Also, if someone use a very tiny sound to do a speech that makes you hard to listen to him. Will you still want to listen to him? In the end, let me repeat my main opinions: there are two ways for the speech, to let other people understand you, To let other people understand you.

第三位選手楊同學的演講非常有趣，他首先統計了校園內監控器的數量，并計算出這些監控器一年的耗電量，接著楊智恒同學客觀分析了監控的優缺點。他認為學校的監控可以保護學生的個人物品，防止貴重物品被盜。但同時，監控也存在明顯的不足。目前互聯網上開放許多攝像機，這些攝像機很容易受到黑客的攻擊，公眾的隱私也就得不到保障。

Admittedly, monitoring has many advantages. For instance, it protects students' personal belongings and prevents their valuables from being stolen. However, according to the statistics in 2018, there are One million six hundred and fifty thousand cameras open to the internet in China, those cameras are easy to be attacked by hackers. In the case of so many public monitors are exposed online, are the government able to protect the privacy of citizens?

第四位選手王同學給大家分享了他對抖音的看法。很多人每天都在刷抖音，有些人對抖音頗有微詞。王天亞同學認為，不可否認，抖音確實為我們提供了很多正面信息，而僅僅是只有負面影響。比如，以前我們只能通過圖片、文字和紀錄片等媒體了解的事情。而現在，通過抖音我們可以在任何時候看到不同國家、不同地區的地理美景。

Although there are many complaints on TIKTOK, what I have to say is that TIKTOK actually provide us more positive information rather than negative impacts. A few years ago, we knew about these things through pictures, words, documentaries and other media. Now, with TIKTOK, we can see the geographical beauty of different parts of the country at any time. And get to know the detailed information about a specific competition.

第五位選手周同學首先講訴自身經歷，剛來到光華美高時，她曾對新同學感到既緊張又好奇，也擔心不能融入新的班級，但現在她與班里同學相處都很和諧。接著，周雨軒同學對怎樣融入一個新的環境提出自己的建議：一是要有熱情。這會給結交新朋友提供很多機會;二是要謙虛，要**傾聽別人的想法。

This topic touches me personally, when I came to GuangHua Academy, I felt both nervous and curious about my classmate. I was afraid that I would not fit into this class, but now my classmates are all in harmony. Here are some photos of my classmates and me. Base on my experience of joining in the new group, I will give you some tips. Firstly, I suggest you guys to be enthusiastic. It provides you to a lot of opportunity, when you always say hi to others. Secondly, i suggest you to be modest. Because it is always good to listen to others.

第六位選手李同學演講的主題是古典音樂。古典音樂通常指的是西方國家的標準音樂。古典音樂不同于流行音樂，因為它不是為了流行一時或僅僅為了商業上的成功。它不同于民間音樂，它一般由普通社會成員組成，后人通過聽、舞、摹等方式學習。

Classical music is a very general term which normally refers to the standard music of countries in the Western world. Classical music differs from pop music because it is not made just in order to be popular for time or just to be a commercial success. It is different from folk music which is generally made up by ordinary members of society and learned by future generations by listening, dancing and copying.

第七位選手周同學以“賭博”為話題，首先他認為賭博有很多種，什么都可以賭，其中最著名的是美國發明的百家樂。一個小賭場半年的收入和支出相當于我們學校20個學生的學費。隨后，周佳淇同學探討了賭博的危害，他認為之所以有那么多人沉迷賭博， 是因為賭博是世界上最快的賺錢方式。

And that's what I want to talk about today gambling. First of all, there are many kinds of gambling. Anything can be gambled.The most famous one is baccarat, invented in the United States. The revenue and spending of a small casino in half a year is equal to the tuition of 20 students in our school. I believe that we all know the dangers of gambling, so why so many people would like to participate in gambling games? One, it's very straightforward, money. In a gambler's world, there is nothing or infinity. Gambling is the fastest way in the world to make money.

本場最后一位選手李同學演講的主題是關于脫發的問題。他首先分析了造成脫發的主要原因是遺傳基因、不正常的生活飲食、情緒、睡眠時間、壓力太大、染發燙發、和營養不良等。最后，李昊駿同學認為對現在的大多數年輕人來說，熬夜是導致脫發的罪魁禍首，對此，他建議脫發的年輕人要減少熬夜的頻率。

What are the main hair loss problems? Let me show you about it. 1.genetics 2.abnormal diet 3.your mood 4. sleep time 5. stress 6. hair dyeing and perm and 7. Malnutrition. So what is the most important point for most of us? The hair loss caused by staying up late. Most young people like to stay up late now. Why do we staying up late? because stay up late is very comfortable, staying up late can give you more time to do what you want to do. You can finish what you haven't finished during the day. In order to prevent hair loss, we should appropriately reduce the frequency of staying up late.
