上海燎原國際小學的世界文化課之春分

二十四節氣指二十四時節和氣候，是中國古代訂立的一種用來指導農事的補充歷法。春分這天，白天和黑夜等長，各為12個小時。春分也是節日和祭祀慶典，古代帝王有春天祭日，秋天祭月的禮制。

The twenty-four solar term refers to the twenty-four seasons and climates in ancient Chinese calendar, it's a supplementary calendar to guide farm work. Spring equinox is one of the solar term, during this day the length of night and daytime are both 12 hours. It’s also a day for Chinses to celebrate and worship nature.

本次世界文化課的內容就是中國農歷傳統節氣“春分”。老師向學生介紹了春分的時間，寓意、氣候特點、有關春分的諺語，詩詞以及春分的趣味習俗，最后讓小朋友們玩了豎蛋活動并動手制作了花式眼鏡。

Last week’s world culture class we learned something about spring equinox. We learned the meaning, the characteristics, the proverbs, the interesting customs and poems ofthe spring equinox. Finally, we did an activity to balance eggs on end and madepaper glasses. The students had so much fun.
