獲獎(jiǎng)喜訊

近日,2024年澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)測(cè)評(píng)(AMC)結(jié)果公佈,我校34人參賽,共32名同學(xué)獲獎(jiǎng),其中*括全國(guó)一等獎(jiǎng)1名(全國(guó)排名前3%)、全國(guó)二等獎(jiǎng)5名(全國(guó)排名前20%)、全國(guó)三等獎(jiǎng)10名(全國(guó)排名前55%),全國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)技能獎(jiǎng)16名。

Recently, the results of the 2024 Australian Mathematics Maths Test (AMC) were announced. 34 students from our school participated in the competition, and a total of 32 students won the awards, including 1 High Distinction (top 3%), 5 Distinction (top 20%), 10 Credit (top 55%), and 16 Proficiency.

在Kenneth、Sam、Thurston三位老師的指導(dǎo)下,賽前,學(xué)生們研究往年競(jìng)賽習(xí)題,學(xué)習(xí)和鞏固知識(shí)點(diǎn),鑽研解題技巧,拓展解題思路,本次比賽獲獎(jiǎng)無疑是對(duì)他們努力的認(rèn)可。

Under the guidance of teachers Kenneth, Sam and Thurston, the students studied the previous years‘ questions, learnt and consolidated their knowledge, learnt problem solving skills and expanded their ideas before the competition, and winning this competition is undoubtedly a recognition of their efforts.

ZWIS一直鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參加各類學(xué)術(shù)競(jìng)賽,重視學(xué)生邏輯思維的訓(xùn)練與創(chuàng)新思維的培養(yǎng),挑戰(zhàn)自我。參加數(shù)學(xué)競(jìng)賽,不僅能鍛煉學(xué)生的數(shù)學(xué)思維和學(xué)習(xí)能力,亦能拓展學(xué)生的視野,同時(shí),豐富的競(jìng)賽獲獎(jiǎng)履歷亦是世界各大名校的敲門磚。讓我們?cè)俅螢楂@獎(jiǎng)學(xué)生喝彩!

ZWIS has always been encouraging students to participate in all kinds of academic competitions, emphasising on the training of students’ logical thinking and the cultivation of their innovative thinking, as well as the challenge of self-experience. The participation in mathematics competitions is not only a good way to train students' logical thinking and participating in mathematics competitions not only helps students to train their mathematical thinking and learning ability, but also broadens their horizons. 澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)測(cè)評(píng)(AMC)始於1978年的賽事,由數(shù)學(xué)泰斗Peter O'Halloran創(chuàng)立,現(xiàn)由澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)聯(lián)合會(huì)(Australian Mathematics Trust,AMT)主辦。全球共有來自32個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的1600多萬學(xué)生參與,新穎的題型和多語(yǔ)言試題讓全球的數(shù)學(xué)愛好者們得以在數(shù)學(xué)領(lǐng)域深刻切磋,共同學(xué)習(xí),並深刻認(rèn)識(shí)數(shù)學(xué)在生活中的重要性。AMT每年通過澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)測(cè)評(píng)AMC爲(wèi)澳大利亞選拔國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)奧林匹克國(guó)家代表隊(duì),是衡量數(shù)學(xué)能力的重要指標(biāo)。

The Australian Mathematics Test (AMC) began as an event in 1978, founded by maths great Peter O'Halloran, and is now organised by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT). More than 16 million students from 32 countries and territories participate in the event. The novel question types and multi-lingual test questions allow maths enthusiasts from around the world to interact deeply in the field of mathematics, to learn together and to gain a deep understanding of the importance of maths in their lives. the AMT annually selects the International Mathematical Olympiad national team for Australia through the Australian Mathematics Assessment (AMT) AMC.
